We have several ideas for PD modules and add-ons, but there's nothing in the completed parts list.

Forgot to respond to this earlier, but it's only one additional slot over the Civilian Bulk Freighter, which manages to have all Omni slots apart from the Engine module. I figure it's more than reasonable to be able to fit one more when none of the slots are Omni's and two of them are hardlocked. That's seven slots total, which I think moves it into full-size Cruiser territory. @DaLintyGuy, is that correct?
mostly due worries about us ending up fighting with them as we still not have visited them to find out if we can reconcile with them.Well, here's my plan. I still don't get why everyone won't sell the Dark Star Alignment anything, even if they're doing it wrong, they're still imperial loyalists and we can use basically anything to help put the fires out, and they're probably more likely to put said fires out then start more. If nothing else, they can distract the orks for us which we can 100% use.
Though they might be more reconcilable. If they were militarily invested in us.mostly due worries about us ending up fighting with them as we still not have visited them to find out if we can reconcile with them.
Maybe offer a discount to planets that reconvert to the Emperor's Light or be allowed to have a few Sisters/Priests be stationed on their planet.Though they might be more reconcilable. If they were militarily invested in us.
We'd need a Primarch tier car sellsman diplomat for that to work, lol.Maybe offer a discount to planets that reconvert to the Emperor's Light or be allowed to have a few Sisters/Priests be stationed on their planet.
Can't be that bad, right? We'd need a Primarch tier car sellsman diplomat for that to work, lol.
Design actions also include building the machines to build the product. As you only had a previously built frame, you can not build more of them until you take the Design action to do so.Do we need to use a design action to make Bulk Haulers? I thought we were good on that?
In this analogy, the Sabre was our V2. We've gone through every single step on the path towards Light Cruisers except for the last one, which we are about to embark on if the current vote stays in the lead.I think we should list it as a prototype cruiser not just coming up with a design for a light cruiser off the back of a bulk freighter I think that has a lot of problems in designing witb our limited experience. Structural insights like what do you do differently for a ship of this size that you don't do with escorts sure the bulk freighter provides that but the bulk freighter is a freighter not a warship .we have the theory but not that of practical experience and if we are gonna make a light cruiser it has to be a prototype, this is effectively a new field like with warp tech we have no experience with it.in the real world we didn't go from the v2 to the Saturn 5 in one big leap we had thing like the redstone and the prototype has to be what bridges the gap between our v2(escorts) and our Saturn 5(cruiser)
Looks good, but let's try and fix the bulk hauler's engines to not be merchant-only while we're at it.
That was just because the ship had been already built and you were working from an established pattern. Upgrading the engines on a scratch build is entirely possible.Looks good, but let's try and fix the bulk hauler's engines to not be merchant-only while we're at it.
PD is just so confusing on where it should be put. It attacks so it should be Weapon but it attacks enemy attacks to prevent damage so it should be defense. Both of these is correct but it is so ambiguous on what type of module PD should be. @DaLintyGuy is PD W or D or U?i still think a PD module that goes in a defense slot is not a good idea when all of our escorts have one or two defense slots but two or three weapon slots.
It can be both on based on the fact if the system used is also capable of hitting starships if it does its a W system if it can not it is a D system.PD is just so confusing on where it should be put. Oof, that stings. At least the actual warship turned out well.Bulk Hauler rolled a two and then got pushed up by the difficulty mod and the larger Cruiser bonus.
Eh, it came up to a modified five. Below average but serviceable in it's role.Oof, that stings. At least the actual warship turned out well.
Still, we'll want to spend another design action to improve it before casting any hulls off that pattern, I'd think. And when you say the PD rolled average, that means a 7, right?Eh, it came up to a modified five. Below average but serviceable in it's role.
