So having binged the entire third season of Black Mirror, I have to say that on the whole it's weaker than the earlier two seasons though it's still pretty good in its own right. Of the six, hour-plus long episodes in this season, I'd have to say that episodes 4 and 5 were the best

even if episode 5 was basically just a more depressing version of the plot of Haze with a genocidal twist.

Episode 4 was the best of the bunch, in my opinion as

Spoiler: Episode 5

you can examine problems without having to be 10000000% depressing.

I am finding this season immensely disappointing honestly. You can call the endings of most of the episodes in the first few minutes and they really wear their themes and ideas on their sleeves.

Shame because I loved the first two seasons.

Episode 2, and San Junipero(sp?) were fucking fantastic.

It's not as strong as the earlier seasons, but it's still a great show.
