You are a kitten, alone in the world that is a big city.

You don't want to be alone. You know that people--those weird beings that walk around on two legs and do a lot of odd things-- can pay attention to you if they see you.

Obviously, you must find some people and get their attention.

But where?

[] Write-in a place as you think a cat would see it, with an explanation of what it is for QM's framepoint. You may not let yourself get run over. That is stupid. Don't do that.


QM: Okay yeah I don't know what I'm doing. I'm not even sure why I'm letting this stupid idea out into the world.

This is... a quest. It is actually a quest with a specific idea and fandom in mind beyond "cat". Trust me on this.

However, y'all are gonna have to play as a cat. Not a cat-girl, or cat who uses a wish to become a magical girl. Just, a little black cat (unless certain things are done after a certain point but shhhhhh).

I'm gonna be trying not to take this quest too seriously. Watch as that fails before your eyes!

You think. No, this'll work! It's got to.

You go to the big place where people go in and out carrying things and pushing other things along. There are little green (you think they're called trees? Yeah, trees) trees in things and a person is looking at them.

You walk up to the person, (a woman with long bluish not-fur), cuddle around their feet, and say "Hey! Look at me! I'm right here, please look!"

It works! They notice you!

They laugh a little and pet you, and they ask, "What are you doing all by yourself, cutie?"

You answer, "Looking for people, of course. Which I've found now! Take me with you?"

She doesn't seem to hear you, instead looking at your tail for some reason. "How did you get that kink in your tail, poor thing. All by yourself..."

...Is she just... playing like she's not hearing you? You can snap her out of it, you're sure!

"I don't have to be all by myself! Come on, lift me up and take me home with you!"

There's a call somewhere. The woman turns around and calls back, "I'll be right there!"

Then she looks back at you, you think she's sad.

"Sorry, little cutie. I'm afraid I have to say goodbye now."

And she gets up and leaves. No.

NO!!!!

"Wait, come back!" You try and tell her, but it's too late. She's going already.

...That went bad. Really bad.

You go back to your sleeping place, sad and with no progress made.

You're really sleepy now. You fall asleep.



When you get up again, everything's grayer. You must have been asleep for a while.
