But we'd still get dragged into that unbelievably shitty world, and Voldemort sure as fuck isn't going to be that considerate.
There's that Hufflepuff student who died (and so did Sirius Black).Well, if we did tell him the truth then he'd know our ability isn't magical in nature and would have no cause to drag us in. Plus I'm not really afraid of Voldemort. Harry would obviously be the primary target of his actions. As long as Harry's there to attack he'd probably ignore us.
The problem, such as it is, is that Harry is being an idiot right now. If we tell him about us, he'll try and tattle, and if that doesn't work, he'll try and get proof. There's precious little we can do right now to get him on our side. Heck, Dudley probably doesn't even want Harry on his side at this point. We should use this opportunity to add Harry to our party, making sure we never close it so he has a one up against the people at Hogwarts, then helping each other in whatever ventures we do. Cause fuck whatever our parents think, we're family and we won't let some snake faced shithead take that away from us. (Well obviously neither has that mindset but it would be nice)
Voldemort didn't kill either of them. Peter and Bellatrix did I believe. That's also with both of them being in the middle of Voldemort's plans. They weren't killed out of spite. It was more out of them being in the way. Nobody went out of their way to kill them. Spite would be him killing his family. There's that Hufflepuff student who died (and so did Sirius Black).
So don't underestimate Voldemort's sheer spite.
OOC, in character we don't know about the existance of dumbledoor, about harry being a chosen one, about wizards/witches. All we know is that we can lord this over harry how much better we are than him.Wouldn't he start talking to Dumbledore and then we'd get dragged in with that old shit?
I don't want to go to Hogwarts, where they keep forming students to be as idiotic as the adults are in the wizarding world.
Epiphanies don't make a really stupid person suddenly become smart, they just change their view on something.I'm wondering why he jumped to the fantastical 'body snatcher' theory, when there's a much simpler 'he had an epiphany/he's reevaluating some things
I appreciate that Harry seems to be concerned about us, but he's actually being a huge dick right now.
[X] ... What.
-->[X] No, seriously, what.
-->[X] Did he just call you stupid!?
-->[X] Has he been in your room?!
---[x] Seriously, what the hell is wrong with you? I'm not some shitty third rate two-dimensional static character in a kid's book you know. I'm an actual person, not a piece of furniture that if it starts to look different it means something is wrong. I'm allowed to do something or be distracted by something or try a new thing. You're an asshole.
-----[x] I'm seriously so pissed off that I'm scared to punch you as I think I might not stop until I kill you. Get out of my face.
You realize that answering like that is even more likely to make him believe Dudley has been replaced right? Since yesterday Dudley wouldn't know half of those words.I appreciate that Harry seems to be concerned about us, but he's actually being a huge dick right now.

I realize it was a joke vote, but:
[X] Look at food in hand, then look at Harry.
-[X] "Hold these."
-[X] Sock Harry in the face. Afterwords, retrieve the food and go back to what you were doing previously.
[X] "It's called puberty. You'll understand when you're eleven."

Harry's "soiled, mean" cousin has become an eloquent pacifist.
I honestly don't care. When he feels like treating us like a human being, even if a total douche of one, I'll be perfectly willing to explain everything to him. If he's just going to assume that we have no agency of our own he can just fuck off.You realize that answering like that is even more likely to make him believe Dudley has been replaced right? It's not like he's wrong to be suspicious, Dudley is acting weird. That he jumped to "replaced by somebody" says more about the relationship than anything else.
What is he going to do? If he wants to assume we are the bad guy then good for him he can have fun with that.We could do that just by calling out that Harry is being mean. We don't need to make him more suspicious to make him look like the bad guy.
death threats seem really out of character for dudley-----[x] I'm seriously so pissed off that I'm scared to punch you as I think I might not stop until I kill you. Get out of my face.
Feel free to edit it out. I honestly wasn't sure about it when I wrote it.
He is technically right though, dudley got body snatched by SV, is behaving widely out of character, and apparently just become more than twice as smart as beforeLike, if he just went "Yo, I noticed you seem to be acting differently, what's up. Did something happen? Everything alright?" or even just "Hey, you're acting weird. Why?" I would be all for telling him everything. Cause, you know, thinking that maybe something happened to us is perfectly fine and logical and I'd appreciate him noticing and asking, but seeing us acting differently and going "This is obviously a different person" is just fucked up. He is basically saying here "I don't think of you as a human being, you aren't capable of acting in any way other then I think of as normal for you."
