When the topic was broached, she reacted… oddly, and the fact that she's between ladies is surprising. But she didn't… she indicated her ability to do so. She seemed cagey, and she's certainly the oldest of the possibilities.

[X] Xiaoli, a lady's companion, and rumored to be bastard daughter of a prominent Iritan noble. Quite smart, and seemingly loyal--but clever enough that this wasn't necessarily something stolid and impossible to change. With her father's death, she was sent to court with her half-brother, who then fell into disgrace after the revolt, and if not snatched up now, she will likely be gone. Somewhat pretty, in a pale, featureless sort of way. Pretty as an Iritan Noble is pretty.
