BatQuest: A CK2 Batman Quest

Forensic Accounting can let us deal with goons and madmen, masked or otherwise, with ease and in far greater numbers than going out there with fists or a magic wand. Even tracking spells can be replaced with good ol intrigue and stewardship investigations. We might have problems dealing with Cthulu or Solomon Grundy, but upsides and downsides to everything you know? We'll make more human criminals our bitch.

I'd rather have both, but oh well.

No strong opinion on romance, Magic Batman seems kinda interesting but is not my preferred route.

I love the idea of making Bruce Wayne into evn more of a champion for the poor and working classes. Also, corporate espionage is way too interesting for me to pass up.

I mean, Merciful is basically canon Batman in any work that does Batman any justice. It's the whole thing behind why he doesn't kill anyone, not on purpose, not on accident, he will try to save everyone regardless of criminality because everyone has a Bruce Wayne in their lives in his mind, and no one deserves to go through what he did as a child. This is my interpretation of a century-old fictional character, and may not be in line with other interpretations.

All of the traits presented to us represent Batman, it's just a matter of which one we want to prioritize in my eyes. Batman is known for his great mercy, and unwillingness to kill under any circumstance. The same goes for his sense of justice. Those are things that sometimes clash, which is why Batman is presented with internal moral dilemmas concerning those 2 and the downright evil villains he fights on a daily basis. The latter 2 traits, deceitful and Vengeful, represent the darker sides of Batman, the 2 monsters he fights the most with. You generally see that sort of Sadism and bloody vengeance in the gritty and depressing versions of Batman. The 'canon' version of Batman will generally have his Mercy win, with Justice following close behind.

edit: that's how I see it anyways. I'm not the best at explaining things.

Seized by indecision on accounting vs magic, I've decided to not vote in that category. I'm fine with either but both sound very appealing.

I love the idea of the Riddler being our mentor. And hopefully we can try to steer Tommy away from his future life of crime.

I should have specified that I was referring to Forensic Accounting with that Comment. I am aware of Batman's canon personality. What I was saying was that with Forensic analysis we can find heaps of corruption and help people get employment and that said jobs don't have any cut corners. And that would be the first step in preventing crime.
