Didn't see a thread for this yet so I thought I'd make one.

Personally I thought it was a pretty good first episode, I love that they're just going full-on "Naval-themed Magical Girls" with the combat and how Kansen work and stuff. Plus even more Star Trek references from Enty :3

It's also neat that they deliberately aired the first episode on Enterprise's birthday/launch date

I mean Akagi and Kaga are Omyoujis and Kitsune to boot why wouldn't they be able to fly?

That explains those two, it doesn't explain why Enterprise was able to fly BEFORE she surfed one of her planes.

She doesn't though? She simply winds up floating in mid air upon activating her transformation (since she was standing atop her rigging's ship form) and then succumbs to gravity once it finishes.
