From the Halls of Life and Faith, you have been chosen to keep the Faith and Hope alive in a world at total war.

You are not a great savior, or prophet of hope, you are just a man. A Capable one...but still just a man.

Will it be enough?

Avatar: Echoes of Ash and Choice

Time and Fate are not mutually exclusive.

They dance together, entwined, inseparable.

Time and Death are but the same. One measures the other, and both leave scars.

The War of Man and Ideals is eternal undaunted, unspoken, weathered not only in the world of Man…but in worlds beyond.

The Game of Change remains undaunted.

Cycles repeat. Lessons forgotten are learned again in fire, blood, and silence.

-----------------------------------

It has been ninety years since Sozin's Comet scorched the skies.

Ninety years since the annihilation of the Air Nomads; since the Avatar vanished without a trace.

Now, the world teeters on the brink.

A war of global scale burns across nations, its consequences echoing through every spirit and stone.

The fire of hope lies in embers, barely glowing; its light fading with each passing year.

And yet…The line must be held.

By the broken. By the weary. And those who do not understand.

By those who stood before, and now must stand again.

Not for glory. Not even for survival.

But for the world they have been asked to shepherd, In the name of balance, in the name of the unseen.

For if the embers die out completely; if the last flicker of hope is lost…

What is left to save?
-----------------------------

Of course, in such times, when hope cannot be found from within...it must come from without.

And the Spirits of the world have watched intently across time and space for those who can bring hope to the world...a sense that not all is lost.

It is a difficult thing to ask those who have passed on to live and suffer once more.

But these are the times that define all men.

Now… whose eyes will you watch through as this tale unfolds?

[]Admiral Yi Sun-sin: The Martial Lord of Loyalty...rise, Hero of Korea. Another Land, threatened by cruel Invaders, requires your aid... So often unfairly accused, demoted, and sidelined, remaining loyal to his King and Nation despite all of it, he fell at the peak of the Final Battle, giving his life to secure his homeland's freedom. But even death can relinquish it's grasp on a soul, if it is needed elsewhere. And now, this Military Genius finds himself thrust into a new War in a shattered world, to defend innocent people from those who would subjugate them and burn their homes. But like Toyotomi Hideyoshi before, these Invaders shall soon learn that on land or at sea, this son of Joseon has no equal…

[]Giuseppe Garabaldi: Ahh, the Hero of Two Worlds…we may yet have time to call it Three? Death does not end a man's journey…nor his ideals. Given a second life and a chance to once again give the world a sense of hope, and an ideal of something grander than mere misery and the pain of lost sons and a broken world. A Small hope…but one that must be tended diligently as any flame. Time would give him an adjustment period, and one to find if not one master to fight for, then time to build his own future as he had once before.

[]Benjamin Henry Grierson: It is said the Sweetest Music is one with patience and steady life, Dedicated, dutiful, and above all else, a man who's virtue outshone the cruelty of the world he lived in in spite of is profession. Death's Hand has sent you here to not only win such a contest of Cruelty...but to maintain the spirit of a hopeful age that will come after it. Time and circumstance made you a man in one world, will it change you in another?

AN: Inspired by Talking about what historical characters would be a good base for people in Avatar.

Now I made a quest about it. Thank @Alexander Sturnn for the help.

The Martial Lord of Loyalty all the way! May he finally find someone worthy of his loyalty. He's also the one who got the relatively bad ending of dying to win the war while Garibaldi and Grierson died peacefully.

May he finally find someone worthy of his loyalty.
In the Earth Kingdom? No likely...the Council of Five has like two generals worth a damn, and Long Feng is...well Long Feng.
Garibaldi and Grierson died peacefully.
Garabaldi died in the nation he made...old and well respected.

Grierson also died well respected but marred by the fact that He was pro African American's in the service witch made things complicated.

And Yi...Yi became imortal in deed and service.
Imagine if Yi gets his hands on captured Fire Nation ships.
Yi's very good, it's just industrial navel warfare in the same type as the fire nation...

Is a bit of a learning curve.

It can be done but...he's a little behind on the whole industrial warfare thing.
then spirits help the fire nation cause they are gonna need it
There will be a sense of balance. This is the firenation at near the peak of their power.

Let's give hope to those lost in despair, let's make it Three for Three
