Basically, the premise of this thread is that, after Asami fights her father, something ignites in her. This turns her from a humble normal human into a mad genius: a Spark. How does this alter the story?

Her father actually supports her and is basically Henry Ford as a minor to moderate spark, so I would say that she starts mass production of clanks in order to SHOW THEM ALL!!! even if who "they" are is not quite clear. It could be the equalists, Korra, or even just some cabbage salesman. Basically as soon as she hits a fugue-state, she starts with the science. Possibly SCIENCE if she is a stronger spark.
Of course, she could end up as a mad social-scientist.
