With the introduction of Fingertown many things have changed for the Vale, it will definitely affect the relationship of all the Vale lords. Some will be for the changes , some will be against. We have to know each of their stand and grievances to better smooth friction and cut potential tragedies at the bud.
Also in the whole of the Vale there is only 2 Arryns able to pass down the name and in our household, and no daughters to marry to other families; 3 if you count Harrold Hardyng, more if you count the Arryns of Gulltown.
If we lose Rhaella to the birthing bed, our relationship with the Crown will take a possibility irreparable hit. In canon Rhaella had survived many pregnancies but not only were the majority of her children stillborn, we just can't take that risk. A house's power is also measured by the number of children. We need more family members and having a master healer will go a long way.

Harrold Hardyng isn't even born yet - I'm not even sure Alys Arryn and Elys Waynwood have married yet. Keep in mind we're right around the time many of the actors of Robert's Rebellion were just being born around 260 AC.

About the same things I would have voted for except that contacting our friends now when we literally were just with them not too long ago, so I don't really see it as necessary. Could have used the action to build a retinue to start planning for the Mountain Clan stuff.

This. This is what I warned y'all about, overly focusing on one single aspect of our Chatacter, we are good at diplomacy sure. But let's not get tunnel vision and try yo solve everything with that alone and neglect our other pretty good stats.
 
Yeah - part of why I doubled down on improving our combat and martial is that this recent war arc proved that a silver tongue can only do so much.

Seems pretty sensible. It sucks that we can't spend more time with our wife for now, especially since she's pregnant and all, but we need to prioritise our duty for now, especially considering the state of our Father.

I think Jon is being more cunning than he lets on. With Baelish he can control the city more effectively and structure trade flow in way that will profit the Eyrie more.
A new lord means easier to control and mold. He can lend Baelish his experience and if Arryns stand to gain a bit from that, who's to complain.
