Jon can be James Bond. Let's not be Alex Rider.
I believe it's Arstan Arryn... or is it Alex Arryn? I can't remember.
I wouldn't object to being a member of CHERUB though.I believe it's Arstan Arryn... or is it Alex Arryn? I can't remember.
Either way, your most likely not going to be that unless bad things happen.
Or just... you know... the Westrosi equivalent.
Need to put a [] and an X in tha [].
Maybe... MAYBE we can't "cure" his futur madness but we can contain it... MAYBE.
Aerys is very much a person with impulse control issues. I really think that, given the proper time, training and encouragement, he could have just been a regular person with no real problems besides the occasional outburst.Do remember that he isn't mad yet, he is just a bit scatterbrained.
Darrklyn's actually, and it's quite weird how the Targaryen dynasty just didn't take that family's Valyrian steel sword when they put Duskendale to the sword.e only really went crazy when left in the dungeons of darkwoods or whatever their name was for two flippin years
Probobily not going to happen.Just save him when he gets Kingnapped and we should be groovy. If we don't somehow butterfly Summerhall away somehow
He reminds me of a bipolar (among other things) relative I had. Its something they always had in them and circumstances just put them off kilter enough that it came out. Then things went into a vicious cycle with their imagined issues creating real issues that validated in their own mind more imaginary issues... and things went downhill from there.Do remember that he isn't mad yet, he is just a bit scatterbrained.
We'll have to see if anybody else is late to the party. Or if Egg SUCCEEDS.What? Egg wants to hatch dragons, so he's going to try to hatch dragons.
Tywin will always have ambition... they may now be more... practical, forward-thinking. Dare I say... revolutionary.Fine by me. Tywin... he may be less emotionally stunted here but he'll still have some degree of ice water in his veins. That actually works out for us because he'll be taking this mostly seriously, understanding a fraction of the weight on our combined shoulders. I'm not sure where his ambitions will take him now that putting a bandage over his family's badly wounded pride is superfluous.
Well, the one thing we can be certain about Aerys is that he is completely random and can spend weeks focusing on one thing, gaining near mastery of it, only to drop it for another thing because he got bored.Aerys is the other end of things. Volatile and flitting back and forth from every possible extreme. We won't, can't, get complacent around him and (even if he will likely try to use a live blade on us during training one day) we can not afford to get too entrenched in our ways. If the boy is mad, he is no madder than the world he lives in and which we have to live in too. Compare him to any crowd of people in King's Landing.
Won't it be fun with our personality bouncing off of theirs?we have a tripod of those things we will absolutely have to become comfortable with. Cold reason, the wavering fires of whim and want, and... the hardest of our priorities... still dealing with people as people at the end of the day.
The thing about Aerys is, when he gets focused, he really gets focused, which would do him well if he had someone to point him in the right direction to keep his focus. He reminds me of a bipolar (among other things) relative I had. Its something they always had in them and circumstances just put them off kilter enough that it came out. Then things went into a vicious cycle with their imagined issues creating real issues that validated in their own mind more imaginary issues... and things went downhill from there.
The 'madness' didn't just appear one day. It was just fairly quiescent until someone kicked over its cage.
A good or great person can carry a lot of baggage all the way from birth.
Dragons? Magic? Ahistorical War?We'll have to see if anybody else is late to the party. Or if Egg SUCCEEDS.
Or is just distracted by one ahistorical war or another.
