    "Shootout at the docks. Over thirty confirmed deaths." You checked the local news websites and blogs for information. The incident at the docks was being reported as gang violence without any mention of man-eating cars or insectoid faeries. You breathed a sigh of relief. Glad that no one was aware of your existence just yet.

    The spirits you summoned always disappeared after an hour, leaving behind no evidence. No one could connect you with what happened at the docks last night. You were basically a ghost, and you preferred it that way.

    "Ghost?" You searched the name on the SuperhumanWiki and groaned when it returned three results. A mid-level superhero operating in New Jersey, a mercenary supervillain who primarily worked in South America, and a supervillain from Sweden. Nope. Not Ghost. You needed to come up with a more unique name for your costumed alter-ego.

    On that note, you needed to find yourself a costume as well. Nothing fancy. Just something a little more intimidating than the secondhand hoodie, plain cloth mask, and cheap sunglasses you wore as your disguise last night.

    "Thank you for shopping at Ann-Mart. Have a nice day." Your shift was almost over. You couldn't wait to get back home, collapse on your shitty bed, your cheap lumpy mattress, and drift off to sleep. You've earned that much, haven't you?

    The news websites and blogs had nothing that could tie you to the crime scene. What about the gangsters? You stalked the social media pages of local gangsters and their 'groupies'. Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok, YouTube, everything.

    "The frikks popped them."

    "Naw it was the skkkinheads."

    "Im tellin' yall it was the feds!"

    Rival gangs were being blamed for the attack on social media. And interestingly enough, some of them were even claiming credit. Gangbangers belonging to the Freaks, the other major street gang in Annwyn City, were boasting that they took care of the Droogs last night, and the city now belonged to them. You rolled your eyes at the shameless clout-chasing but did nothing to change the narrative.

    It was better this way. Let the Freaks take credit for the violent murders, while you kept playing the role of the sweet, innocent, little high school girl who did nothing wrong.

    "Thank you for shopping at Ann-Mart. Have a nice… night." You failed to suppress the yawn this time. Only a few customers left. Then you could go home and rest. Your job was super boring, but you still tried to be thankful. At least, this was better than what you were doing last night. You were safe, no one was pointing their guns at you.

    "Hands in the air! It's a stickup!"

    Of fucking course! You groaned in disbelief, as two masked men barged in with handguns. Of all the convenience stores in the city, they had decided to rob the one you worked at, and literally, a minute before you were done with your shift!

    @jaggedqm do we still have our 3 spirits from last night? Or if we choose to summon one it would be totally random? Like form the 27 summons? Asking because if we could summons the toy soldiers to take them out without making it obvious they belong to us that would be great!

    This isn't really worth the risk of getting outed. This city is so shit that somebody actually STOPPING a stick up would probably make the news.

    Now that I think about it, a teenage girl in THIS city, stoping a robbery or even being involved in the process of a hero intervention of said robbery, would draw so much attention.

    Extra thankful we have some spare money now, but this is preferable to summoning HMS Dreadnought in accidentally or something that would just cause even more disaster. This doesn't get us expsoed or (hopefully) injured, so it's the best option.

    Oh. My mistakes. But I would still had like a training episode, becaused MC summon power is like a animales tamer, and the spirits are the animales, so the Mc needs to learn how to handle and control's them. Also I don't want's every episode to be about figthing. There should be some down time episode, like a socially ep, a training ep, find a sercet base ep, a superheros outfit, or even aslice of life ep.

    I feel like there's a degree of ritualism at play here, so might as well let this happen but be ready to escalate. Not worth being shot over a couple hundred dollars.
