Before she became one of Rhaenyra's ladies, she was a part of Daemon's doomed expedition disguised as a squire, but unlike many others, she escaped and joined her rescuers in rescuing Daemon. She was later scolded for hiding her identity but also granted a position at court. She is arguably one of the best swordswomen you have met. Though you haven't met many.
