To explain a bit of the complexities between Emps and Tyrian, as well as his view of Emps as a flawed man. The Emperor uses Tyrian's mind as a dumping ground for tons of secrets and research notes, including a lot of the traumatic shit he's ordered carried out by Tyrian.

This only works because Tyrian's willpower is frankly goddamn bullshit, as anyone else even Malcador knowing all of this would drive them insane.
So I guess were nis bro for life then or at least favorite grandson

Well... uh... Shit. Seems like we have a lot of knowledge locked in our head, too bad we don't actually know what that is. Also, Magnus/Chaos Gods can't breach our Psychic Shield and get that information right?
Yep, a rather large chunk of the Emperor's soul was forged into the lock.

Also Tyrian constantly has all that knowledge screaming at the back of his head, plenty of it he doesn't understand due to lack of knowledge base but still there. He hears all of it.

Well, that's a good thing.

That's a bad thing... because damn.

That's kind of metal.

So will we be able to use said knowledge or do we have to start hitting the books? Because Tyrian with Magnus help could cure the Geneseed than.
He has all of the knowledge with none of the education to make use of it. Quite a few of the formulae for how to make the different trans-humans running around the Imperium exist in completely pristine and uncorrupted quality in his head.

Than why does the Emperor go hey you know those Geneseed well when we started to mass produce them at Moon Lab they started to have problems and their was a warp storm also have problems... so I am busy I need you to go and figure this out cool you got it I have to go help the League of extradionary Space Men.

From what I recall Thunder Warriors Modifications/Augmentations where as beyond a Space Marine as a Custodes is beyond the Thunder Warrior.

Edit: Not saying you're wrong per say, just saying what I, myself recall regarding this subject.

I thiiiiink Thunder Warriors have a pretty limited lifespan so I kind of figure that a veteran marine probably has had enough raw experience (and maybe mental influences) allowing them to overcome a foe who is physically better across the board.

I mean, fair. But do realize, Veteran Thunder Warriors, the ones that managed to survive Emperor's Battles and were around to be put down at the final one would likely be in the exact same scenario.

Time for school.

Damn man, you making us really wanna turn our focus around.
Tyrian is a former techno barbarian orphan turned Astartes, he does not have the ability or time to learn the millenia's worth of knowledge necessary to utilize the secrets in his head. He is not a once-in-a-lifetime wunderkind like Bile or Cawl, who were just fucking bullshit smart, considering gene seed were considered a difficult topic by the Emperor himself.

He's not that kind of genius.

...wait...isn't one of the primary requirements for effective psyker power use having a strong enough will to mentally force the effect to occur while also resisting daemonic influence?

So he will have to fix the Geneseed after the Heresy and become a scholar. Just like how the Custodies became scholars after the emp got put on the throne.

I'm aware, it was more of a joke. Also, I'm assuming we can at least make him competent enough overall outside of being primarily more of a Champion.

*Laughes power-gaming-ly*

Oh, oh sweet lord...the Emperor made us XV deliberately for this exact reason didn't he?
I'm not saying that he wanted his murder blender to be a magical murder blender. I'm also not saying that he didn't want that either. It just... worked out that way. Certainly has nothing to do with the "totally not a God" Emperor.
