I was referring to this:

Yeah. I only voted that way because it seemed like you would be unhappy with us not following Alex, and an unhappy GM makes a bad quest. At this moment, I not sure whether I want to play so causally that you will have to throw plot at us, and even then I will just go "nope" and ignore it, or just not bother thinking about anything, and going with the most high risk choice I can think of.

My point with all this, is that you should have trusted your instincts instead of gone with the idea from a person who's obviously lying to you. And as I've said, my personal feelings towards your votes don't matter all too much. It's a series of cause and effect.

You went into the hotel after Alexander and his "friend", focused on him instead of who might be watching you enter the hotel, and followed him to his room. After getting there, you loudly knocked on the door, earning his ire, mostly because drawing attention to a spy is a surefire way to really piss them off.

And finally, you burst in on his "Private time". I can't really get on your case too much for this, as it was a "between the lines" sort of thing, but it was still a factor into the results.

Don't focus on making me happy. I absolutely promise I won't screw with the results based on what I personally believe, only based on what would normally happen in this circumstance.

Focus on preserving the MC, and not dying. Everything else is only circumstantial.

Aww... Having the security guard would have given us more chance to stay alive. Even if they became suspicious to us. And this was so interesting, too.

Damn....
Well then.
Looks like we went into that situation without skills/support.
We didn't have any skills to get out of it either.
So, brainstorming time people.

Maybe we should ask the neighbors nearby for use of their phone? Maybe we could call security?

Also, at what point do we resume, GM?

You think so? Or was that comment filled with sarcasm? I can honestly never tell...
It is genuine. I've no idea how you can think it as sarcasm, though I guess we read different comments in different ways (because I sure as hell do sometimes and I don't know whether to be flattered or offended at those times).

I think that after seeing the BAD END, taking a chance with the security seems to be the "safer" idea. I mean, sure, they could have noticed our gun and we'd be pretty fucked but there is a slim chance that Alex would pull some strings to get us out of that situation. If they didn't, security guy could've asked what the commotion was and we'd just say that we're worried about the sounds coming from that room. If there is a mole in the security and that mole was the one we informed, he'd probably just dissuade us or do what was done to us in the recent update.

Or we could just turn tail, run, and focus on our assigned target. But honestly, that didn't cross my mind.

Those all probably would have been better options. As I've previously said, the most surefire way of pissing off a spy is to draw any kind of attention to them.

Edit: I see sarcasm in a lot of different things. I automatically assume everyone else is just as much of a cynic as I am, I apologize.

You actually did though...

To be honest, while Ness' vote is interesting to see, I'm gonna go to a safer option right now. Besides, I'm starting to think that Alex really isn't held at gunpoint but I'm not that confident in my thought. To be honest, Alex can go kill himself after roughing us up (pls dont kill meh) and we'd better be ready for the task assigned to us.

[X] Do an eyes only sweep of the surrounding area to find possible entry and exit points, along with anything else of interest. A through sweep will look suspicious.
-[X] Make a note of the hotel Alex went to and leave.
-[X] Try and remember where you dumped Alex's suit and retrieve it.
-[X] Go back to the hotel.

[X] Not thirsty
That bald hitman-looking guy just offhandedly commented about a passage in the book about trusting the wrong fellow. This time, we are more paranoid. We must be the very best Amateur Intelligent Agent until we aren't!

*Chuckles* He meant Alexander. I was hoping that it could be concluded that since he expected Alexander to be trouble that he didn't very much trust him either.

There's an invisitext? Huh.

Edit: Nevermind. Saw it.

Good, you're catching on. However the threadmark did also say "The Death of William".

And you said you were a liar right after. Also, you were continuing the quest and not saying anything about a new character gen. You also said that you wanted all the quest goers to see it, which wouldn't matter if you weren't hoping for a twist.

You know, there's a specific reason I like all of you, and this is it. However, as bad as believing every word I say is, believing everything I say is a lie is also bad. Everything said normally has a grain of truth to it, unless I'm specifically trying to mess with you, and I make it really obvious when I'm just messing with you.

Regardless, this was less me messing with you, and more you guys falling into a spiderweb trap that you yourself set for yourself. Aren't you curious in the least why Casey told the MC that it was a neurotoxin that would kill him?

Also, on a side note, how are you certain I didn't want all the voters to see it in the sense that a parent wants their child to see what they've done wrong, huh? :p
