"It was a good decision to bring this to our attention, Miss Hebert," the PRT staffer said with a serious tone. "Having looked into the matter, we have indeed decided to assign your sister a Stranger rating."
"Then she really--" Taylor cut herself off. "Wait, but you still called her my sister?"
"Oh, she is," the staffer replied. "Everything from the legal investigation to Panacea's DNA comparison confirms that." He handed the Heberts an official-looking piece of paper. "We're assigning her a Stranger -1 rating on account of her ability, unquestionably exceeding the human baseline, to present even perfectly innocuous statements in a suspicious manner."
"Your conclusion is flawed," Rose said.
"Baseline human capability is not a meaningful standard by which to evaluate me."
Danny and Taylor looked at each other.
They nodded.
"Makes sense," Taylor said.
