Alchemical Solutions [Worm/Exalted] Thread 2: Bullsh*t Magical Robot Girl

And it's not like she wasn't scheduled to attack relatively soon. So, no break in attack pattern (at least no apparent break).
One and a half months from now, on a three-month cycle. There's a bit of leeway (that Simurgh attack might have been later than the average, this one might be earlier) but it's still a big gap.

Note that the delay option does not actually waste the time.

We spend the whole week palling around with Kid Win and Armsmaster.

Those familiar with Sojiko's Conquest Quest will recognize what is happening here.

Too bad Taylor doesn't know about this Interlude, hmm? :D

Because I feel that this is the most IC for Taylor.
You think that not jumping at the chance of joining the PRT is remotely IC for Taylor? The girl who's strongest Intimacy is her dream of being a Hero? The girl who absolutely adores MM? The girl who has been tasked by Autobot to bring Justice and Order to this world and has no idea the PRT could be corrupt and has by word of God only heard good things about the PRT?

Arcman said:
She didn't do so after taking down Lung in canon, even with Armsmaster giving her the same invitation.
She didn't have the Intimacy for MM. She didn't have a Vision from a God-like being saving her live and commanding her to bring Order and Justice. She had a deeper mistrust of Authorities after the Trio got away scot-free after the locker and she still planned to join the heroes and betray the Undersiders.

Uh, isn't the thread limit 200 pages? *is confused* Why new thread now?

Anyway, extended family are fine if you guys don't go "loldragon" or "lololdmanhenderson"

Guys, guys. You are thinking about this the wrong way. This is the perfect excuse to make the 'Perfect Angle Destroying Cannon' or the 'Mental Protection Shroud.'

Or we could call Simurgh our new sister and induct her to the glories of The Maker.

Ah, damn. The last I had recalled seeing was the 100-page limit in the Creative Writing sub-forum, but checking right now reveals this sub-forum has a higher cap (since 01/17/14, at least).

Eh, it's a new Arc so it's fitting for a new thread. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Pun intended.

You missed the other sticky that cut it down to one hundred.

Guys, guys - we're totally fine. Remember, according to the interlude, the Simurghs plan is survival - she wants to kill Zion just as much as we do. And remember how she has an AOE Tinker mind-leach ability that lets her utilize the specialization of any Tinker in her general vicinity.

Our path is clear. For the sake of Creation Humanity, we must apprentice ourselves to the Simurgh! All we need to do is talk to her and convince her to be a pal and take us under her wing (har har).

::Looks at our social stats and lack of social charms::

FUCK

More seriously - All the vote options have the ups and downs. Good on Gromweld for that and not having any option be the outright superior choice. I also like how my probation/apology tour for the trio got wrapped into the Wards vote despite few people actually voting for it in the initial round. Reinforces my notion that I while I occasionally have ideas that are either good or fun enough that QMs will steal them, I am really bad about selling those ideas to my fellow quest-goers.

Hmm. As a reminder to folk who want what's best for Danny:

The less you dance to their tune the less they give you on a silver platter.
Something to keep in mind. This would imply that the Wards option is the best one if that's your goal.

Now since what I want is for us to apprentice with the worlds foremost authority on personal relationships, Armsmaster, and craft all the things, my choice is clear.

[vote removed to keep my promise to others that dropped their vote for #3]

Secondary vote, because I prefer it over #3

[X] Option #1: Forgiveness & Wards

Well, it's basically:
Fairness & Apprenticeship voters
VS
Delay + People who don't want Fairness + People who don't want Apprenticeship
at present, as otherwise it'd be a clean win for apprenticeship.

Pretty sure I didn't? Not seeing anything to that effect.
Behold
So as many people have noted, their threads may or may not be locked. I apologize for the delay in this message explaining why but server\isp issues prevented me from creating this thread earlier.

Basically, as you may have noticed, the site has been having some latency issues and so as an experiment I have closed the largest active threads to see if that makes any kind of difference. While this is not an official policy, I will talk to the admins on the site about changing the limit to one hundred pages, as we had a very large number of active threads with post counts over 2500.

Please feel free to continue any closed threads.
Edit: And since the time of that mod post; which was an explanation for all threads w/ over 100 pages were locked all of a sudden, none of them were unlocked. The admins ok'd the new limit of 100 pages and lag was a little better.

It will be better if we delay. Doing that will allow us to be independent when Simurgh attacks, after the devastation everyone will be too occupied to mind us as we take over the entire city and rebuild it in our image.

Bonus points if Auto-kun pulls a: Awaken my child and embrace the glory that is your birthright?

I think Leniency would do that. If it can win.

EDIT:
Screw tactical voting. Wards or bust!

[X] Option #1: Forgiveness & Wards

There's always the option to double-vote. Ie, voting for both #1 and #3. That way, if #1 starts outpacing #2, you can switch fully, but if it doesn't, you don't end up with what you definitely don't want.
