Across the Pond (Worm Quest)

[x] You want to pass your GCSEs.
[x] You want to get into college.

Not really sure I want one of our priorities to be murdering some guy. Doesn't set a good precedent I'd say.

I'm very interested in what sort of unique cluster mechanics will arise, especially with so many members.

The secondary powers also seem to have some interesting synergies, particularly that tool use one. Overall they combine very well. I'm interested in the specifics of the tinker power though, as well as the limits of the changer power, is body builder a role? How about lion?

I want to ask everyone who is voting for school related goals what exactly they're imagining what we're going to do in school that is going to be actual adventuring materiel and not… you know, boring school stuff.

Thanks. That was intentional on my part as I deliberately tried to give secondary powers that complemented the primary power or each other rather than being too unrelated to other powers or couldn't be used at the same time as other powers.

I'm afraid that those are things you will only find out as Finn herself discovers them. I'm already being generous by telling you the basics rather than leaving them as question marks until Finn figures out her own powers.

I don't see the point of killing him maybe exposing him publicly enough they can't openly ignore it anymore.

Finn wants to kill him. This will be the case regardless of what goal you pick. Choosing it as a goal just means she will actively seek out opportunities to do so as opposed to taking them as they come.

Everybody knows that SPITE is one of the best motivations in the world.

For the record, not all options are built equal. Expect more interesting options and developments from gunning for your cluster mate as opposed to just trying to get good grades at school and get your homework in on time. That said, the boring option is a perfectly valid choice if that is what you prefer, but expect anything too entertaining from voting for the most boring combination of goals. And yes, going for both GCSEs and college is the most uninteresting combo in the current vote.

I think it would be best to strike a balance. Obviously we have to stick to some school stuff, that's a defining aspect of our character, but I think we should focus on some cape stuff as well. This is a cape quest, after all, and if we don't start working on cape stuff now, our shard(s) might get upset at us.

[X] You want to become a famous superhero

With Oshha's words in mind, I'm changing one of my votes just to make it more interesting, and I think this fits with characterization from last chapter.

GSCEs b/c that's what started this whole thing and so we can proudly announce that we're "the one who made it" and Famous Superhero so we can really be the best Blaney of them all.

Being a superhero gives Finn a way of breaking out of the lower classes that doesn't require getting all the way through school. And killing Charles seems pretty heroic from Finn's point of view.

But Charles is Charlges and he is being
stray g in Charles
