What was life without the ability to dream? A damn no good sham that's for sure. Growing up you always wanted the best for you whether it was in video games, shoes and companions. So, when it you became aware for your passion for anything involving music you concluded it's now your destiny to become the greatest musician to ever walk the earth. You didn't know how much obstacles you may face, but you didn't really care, you are the type of guy to not budge regardless of anything that tries to impede you.
Yeah, you gotta worry about all the other details such as getting a record label to sign you, or possibly getting the funds to go independent and perhaps the mindless minutea of practice but you were sure that you can handle it, your not in anyways a quitter after all. A life as a rich and famous musician was what you wanted and you would do whatever it took to get there. You never thought yourself average, you were unique, way more talented than the average joe no one could deny you were destined for me. Your mom may say you need to be more humble but she will be eating her words when you make it to the top of the industry.
Right now you were trying to fit in music with the other areas of life you very much need to address to continue being a functioning member of society.
Like it or not but you have expectations that you have to meet, to keep you in a stable hearth and home. The United States Of America were not kind to the idle. It's a cutthroat place that would swallow you whole and make you into another statistic if you are not prepared to grind.
Honestly, life could be better but you had to count your blessings and for now be happy that you are still healthy. If anything happens to you now all your plans would be in the toaster. So you try and be a little cautious in you're approach to life in general. They say good things comes to those who wait. So far now you will try take things nice and easy to try and pave the way to the top.
Anyways, you are pushed out of your instrospection by the sound of the blaring alarm in your house. It's time to get up, you sigh, not how you want to start the day you feel groggy and tired in your single bed. The sheets are stained with things you don't want to think about and your pretty sure it reeks with a smell that you've grown to used to to be able to notice.
You wouldn't go as far to say your a snob but the past few weeks for one reason or another your personal hygiene commitment has seemed to dampen due to general lack of care for the same routine. The days have begun to blur together and you are just not feeling so energised. It's not like your old or anything you are still young with your whole life ahead of you, assuming tragedy does not befall you. But, still right now you seem to be going through something of a quarter life crisis. Other people your age have already made it big in the entertainment industry, perhaps appearing in movies and tv, and other kids were getting approached by college recruits or to receive full ride scholarship offers or already top athletes in a division one school, while you just seemed to exist in total uselessness, unremarkable and unnoticed. It pained you deeply to be possessing so much talent but still be painfully so unknown by the general population.
Maybe you should try get yourself out there. Try and explore your town more, meet more people, not just the ones you already know due to school or any jobs you may happen to have. But, that was easier said than done. Humans didn't befriend people easily you had to have some mutual interest or happen to be around eachother to build a rapport, if you just kept hounding a person they will try and cut back from you for being too pushy. You suppose you will figure something out, but, knowing your luck it won't work in the slightest. Part of getting older was learning that dissapontment and despair were far more common than achieving anything worthwhile. You needed to somehow got out of this rut before it will come to define you but that like anything hard was easier said than done. They say the tortured artist born of woe and despair is one of the most marvellous creators of art, so, you suppose maybe you could make a tune about your feelings but that would mean you would have to brainstorm and put things aside to get yourself in a state that entirely revolves around the creative process of making music. Your in no way averse to that but you have a couple of commitments at the moment that get you a little sidetracked.
The main one right now is something you really are not to stoked to do but you know intellectually you have no choice in the matter, there are too much expectations and demands that have been placed on you to prevent you from backing out as you are currently a…
