A Worm in the Gulch (Worm/Red vs. Blue)

Hmmm, if the plan was to force him into Taylor then why is he still in doc? There is two thought on what happened there. First is that the shot went off too soon for church to 'kill' him and thous is still in Doc body.
Miscommunication on Church's part, plus some unexpected variables. Let's just say Church hopping inside of Doc's head and meeting Omega without Tex there led to some...interesting results.
Skidmark:What do you think you're doing in our territory you blue armored bitch?
Taylor:What was that? I couldn't hear it over the dick in your mouth, you monkey fucking cockbite!
Skidmark:.....I ain't even mad, frankly I'm impressed
Skidmark don't do rap battles. He does cussing battles.

Skids: Finally, a worthy opponent. Our battle shall be legendary!
Have you ever thought of having Taylor channel her inner rage...with explosives? Make her Blue Team/Red Team's unofficial demolitions expert?
You are a crazy motherfucker, and I don't know whether to love or fear you for it. That said, it is an idea worth considering.
She gets into fight and does a complete Texas beatdown on her opponents.
Nah, won't happen. Taylor's no super soldier and Tex is a whole different kind of beast. That said, I do have plans for Taylor to take some levels in badass. Not Tex levels, but enough to make Griff fear for his balls.
Fair, good thing they never made anything after Shisno right? Because it would probably be god awful if they even attempted it and retconned basically everything for a High-octane fast pace action that is shity and should never have been made.
Honestly speaking, I am one of the very few people who enjoyed Zero. Having said that, I am not one of those people who will die on that hill. Let me explain why (and sorry about the rant ahead of time).

As much as I enjoyed Season 18, it would have been better off as a spin-off. First of all, animating the whole damn thing and mimicking the "machinima" bits. Who tf thought that would have been a good idea? Secondly, the run time. There is no way you can make a decent season of RvB if you have so little episodes and rush things. That's one of my biggest pet peeves. Third, and everyone can agree with me on this, is the cast. Don't get me wrong, I like some of the characters, but the way they disrespect the OG cast like what they did with Tucker and in that one PSA was unnecessary. I get that not everyone from the OG cast could come back for whatever reasons, but come on...

While I like the concept of Zero, I think it would have been better off as a spin-off where Carolina was training the next generation of "Freelancer"-like characters and not what we got.

...the action scenes were nice, though.

Taylor the Queen of Explosive Escalation. Her vs Tex is her luring into a booby trapped area full of turrets and remote and auto detonating explosives

Given this setting and how her blood pressure is clearly spiking I can see her verbally cutting them like Mallory Archer. Specifically I am thinking of the time she threatened Kreger the cutting of his genitals with a needle, string, and a mirror so he can watch.

Honestly? I completely agree with you on it. The animation is what peeves me off the most like, If you're gonna animate it go full in not this crappy imitation! I would've preferred that they either use Machinima or just go full animation rather than the mix that honestly took away from the show. The run time? Oh yeah, no that was crazy, I may like some faced pace stuff but Jesus was it not as enjoyable as the older seasons.

The cast? I think they did a good job with what they had, but yeah... They butchered Tucker and removed a lot of character growth from him while also completely invalidating the whole Shisno Paradox by fixing Wash! And I can agree the concept of Zero being a Spin-off would have been much better if you asked me.

And yes, the action scenes were very nice! Kinda wished they gave that quality to the Shisno Trilogy.

Well, spank my ass and call me Joseph.

Our favorite idiots from the canyon are coming back this Fall. What a time to be alive.

Excitement over Red vs. Blue: Restoration aside, have some news for you. I have one update and one new story to bring you guys. The update in question is Invincible Girl of Another World, i.e. my Pyrrha Nikos isekai fanfic. The second is a crossover story that refused to leave my head and stay on the back burner. It's a RWBY crossover. As for the other half... I'll give you a hint. It's a manga that has an anime adaptation done by Studio Mappa.

Mantech1 Omake: Swear-Off Olympics
Tay becoming more and more vulgar and time goes by amuses the shit out of me. For some reason I have this image of skidmark pissing her off when she gets home, and Tay, to everyone's shock, out cusses him.

OMAKE: THE SWEAR-OLYMPICS

"Hello to all our fans on the Internets! I am of course that handsome rascal himself, L337! And beside me is the nightmare of all Twitch streamers who hardly needs an introduction, Ub3R!"

"Hello, everyone. As you've no doubt noticed this is not one of our regular videos involving either video-game themed heists or commentary on a game."

"Indeed not! No, tonight we've decided to show everyone a completely new segment whose video we got by mistake-"

"A very fortuitous and happy mistake mind you!"

"-and that new segments name is 'The Swear-Olympics' and with that title reveal I'm sure some of our Brockton Bay fans can guess who one of the contestants will be."

"Yes folks, you know him, you hate him-"

"-cause quite frankly there isn't enough drugs&booze in the world to make a sensible person feel otherwise-"

"-and was voted most likely to melt like the Wicked Witch from OZ if he came into contact with water&soap...it's SKIDMARK!"

"And his challenger-"

"-the girl with the kickass armor that Armsmaster wants to confiscate-"

"-that magnet for weird chaos-"

"-she for whom After Action Reports cannot adequately report on-"

"-[ECHO]!"

--------------------------------

Kid Win: "....[Echo] and Skidmark had a 'swear-off'?! How bad was it?"

Clock Blocker: "Well~..."

--------------------------------

Bonesaw: "I'm learning soo much!"

Jack Slash: "Poppet no!"

Bonesaw: "POPPET YES!"

--------------------------------

Astronomer: "Sooo.....just what is the protocol when we see the Simurgh's eyes grow cartoonishly large before it slams its hands over its ears?"

--------------------------------

"Sir, do you really need that many bars of soap?"

Danny Hebert *shrugs*: "At this point in my life I've learned to trust my gut instincts."

Gasp! I inspired an OMAKE!

Edit: [ECHO] is a neat callsign/alias, wonder how Tay got it

Who won tho

Gasp! I inspired an OMAKE!

Don't worry, we all make mistakes!

All we can do is [Flashbacks to Macho Grande] try to live with them:cry:

Some Co-Op games are just too demanding....

Just something of a placeholder since no better ideas came to mind as I was thinking that I might go back and change it once Taylor does get a nickname/alias, maybe.

Considering all the soap Danny's buying? Probably Tay

Church: "Taylor, why are you burping up bubbles?"

Taylor/[ECHO]: "Even wh-*Burp!*-en I wi-*Burp!*-in I lo-*Burp!*-oose."

Church:wtf:: "......know what? Never mind."

Hey everyone. I have a new story up.

forums.sufficientvelocity.com

I Just Wanna Kick back (Chainsaw Man/RWBY) Crossover

A normal life in the world where Denji lives in grows ever out of reach. Worse, he still hasn't snagged a girlfriend. Maybe he needs to try somewhere else if he wants to kick back.

If you have the time, check it out and let me know what you think please!

ON WHAT PLANET DID YOU THINK DUMPING DENJI AND NAYUTA INTO RWBY WAS A GOOD IDEA?!

God dammit, now I'm going to have to read it just to see this dumpster fire...

On a side note, very hyped about Restoration. Depending on how it goes, will we see it added to the fic?

You have got the RvB characters spot-on! Wow.
Comes from watching RvB so many times. XD

By the way, a serious question for you guys. Lately, this story idea has been floating around in my head. An original story idea. Not something I want to get to a publisher or put it on Amazon, but something like a web novel. My biggest concerns are whether it should come to patreon first and come out at a later date, and whether I should write it at all. Anyone who follows me here and on Fanfiction.net will know I have a lot of stories on my plate as is.

What do you guys think?

Go ahead and write it. Post it under original fiction, and link me?

You should put it up on Royal Road, alot bigger audience for original fiction.

Important Update (Still Not Dead!!)
Hey guys. Important notice.

First off, if you've been following my other works, I'm still very much alive and well. Been busy with...well, a lot of stuff. Some important things to go over.

First, I am almost done with Chase Ryder and the City of Lost Memories, Part II: Revolution. The third-to-last chapter is almost done and I'm writing the epilogue chapter because the penultimate chapter is a war sequence that will probably take me weeks, if not a whole fucking month to write. I don't do war sequences well. Fight scenes have never been my strong suit.

Second, after Chase Ryder is wrapped up, I'll be starting my next original work. Instead of going the self-publish route, I'll be posting it as a web serial over on Royal Road. I've heard its a good place for original works from what I've looked online, but at the same time, I'm a little concerned. Starting a brand new website is always a risky gamble because you have no idea what to expect. I managed to get some footing here because my first actual SV fanfic was a Worm story, and that series is so fucking popular it deserved its own section both here and on Spacebattles. You'll notice a lot of my works here are Worm stories, and those usually tend to do better than what I have uploaded here, original or crossposted.

Third, my writing for Sufficient Velocity hasn't died out. I'll be regularly rotating fanfics so as to keep myself from being burned out, but this ties into the major announcement for this PSA of mine.

Devil Trigger has been a collaborative effort between myself and another, who requested they remain anonymous because of prior bad experiences on sites like FFN and Wattpad. We took turns planning and writing out drafts for arcs, with Arcs 1 and 3 being the brainchild of yours truly and Arcs 2 and 4 being theirs. As of October...*glances at calendar* 3rd at the time of this writing, however, my co-writer is leaving Devil Trigger. This is not because of a falling out, but rather because of his disinterest in Worm as of lately and wanting to retire from writing to focus on other matters.

This means that I will now be in charge of writing and planning out the remain arcs. Arcs 4 and 5 are mostly done in terms of planning and rough drafts, but Arcs 6 and 7 are still unfinished.

This, of course, means the wait for the upcoming chapters will be extended. Really sorry about that.

Last announcement for this PSA: After I finish up Chase Ryder, get my next original work all set up, and finish the planning and rough drafts for the remaining arcs of Devil Trigger, writing for A Worm in the Gulch and Phantom will be resumed.

...on a totally yet slightly unrelated note, I have a story that is currently only available over on Patreon. I've got like seven followers over there and make around twenty bucks a month XD Its not a whole much for a guy who's struggling to make ends meat (my interview was a total shitshow in case you didn't know and please don't ask), but its still a lot more than I was expecting since I've made it blatantly clear I don't like using patreon at all. If you are at all curious about the story, there's a link to my patreon page HERE. On Nov. 6, I will be posting a preview of what you guys can expect when I release it publicly here on Sufficient Velocity. It will compile the first three chapters in a single chapter (as said chapters are around 1-2k words long).

I hope people will look forward and enjoy it. Hopefully.

That's it for this announcement. Sorry for the long wait. I promise it will be over soon...ish.

S'okay. Thank you for filling us in on what's going on. I look forward to seeing what you get up to in your writing, both here and on RR (once I can spare the funds, anyway!)
