  • [X] Stay where you are and try to explain your presence
-[X] When the guards arrive, indicate the slain Soul Reaper as an enemy trying to subvert the people of Mardosh and ask to meet with the Lord Protector ASAP. The matter is quite urgent.
--[X] Before the guards arrive and while the situation is being sorted out, attempt to reassure the prince, surreptitiously using Wild Arcana and our Rod of Threnodic Magic to cast a Heart's Ease spell which affects Undead. Remind him that he has just come in contact with a servant of the Void, that which is enemy to all that exists, and that he survived the experience. As our victory just now shows, the Void can be fought and it can be defeated. Ask him to be patient a little while longer, for a solution to the curse afflicting the people of Mardosh will soon be revealed, one which should allow us to begin restoring them to life.
-[X] When inevitably questioned on our presence, explain that we learned of the prince upon first entering the city. We met with him as part of our attempts to discover who ruled the city and their disposition. We did not plan to return to the tower where he lives, but our sister had a premonition that the prince was in danger and that our true enemy had shown their hand. There was no time to give a warning to the proper authorities.
-[X] The Olethrodaemon who escaped is clearly an important agent of the Void. You can't know how much time you have to try and get the knowledge of it's True Name, or attempt forcing a connection to it, via the Reaper's body.
--[X] Have Dany grab a piece of the Reaper and spirit it away to safety and the other Companions - both divining all the answers we can, and trying to see if there's a connection we can exploit in order to summon the Daemon back (give her the curse-staff), while you meet with the Lord-Protector.
---[X] Keep a mental link open for updates on information newly-divined and corpse-questioned.
