That was @Duesal. Say hello @Duesal! To your adoring fans!!!

I'm writing a canon series right now, but I've also got a PMMM crossover non-canon one focusing mostly on Maelor, I have one focusing on Ser Richard that's basically a spin on the Tom Cruise movie "The Last Samurai", only with a western Knight, and another one which... eludes me at the mo--OH I REMEMBER.

Harry Potter and the Rise of the Dragonlord.
I strictly stick to noncanon omakes just so I have free reign.

I'm currently putting finishing touches on the third installment of my Viserys in Darkest Dungeon series, and then after that I'm going to continue with the Viserys in canon!ASOIAF.

Did I maybe miss that? Or is that just something you want to write in the future?

Future idea. I'll get to it soon enough. It's a bit of a wordier project than Richard swording Yi Tish warlords and romancing hot noble Yi Tish scion warrior babes (after slaying their husbands in temporary service to the inexperienced Emperor).

Shame that this cross-over is already taken. I would have had ideas there.

Though I still haven't gotten around to write the next part of Anyas adventures...
Or my own quest for that matter...

I really should get back to writing something...

You can preview chapters then and give me suggestions.

"The Last Samurai" was a shocking case if bullshit.
HE WAS FRENCH! FRANÇAIS!

More seriously, I can't believe that they took a story where a white guy went to Japan, discovered the native culture, went all maverick and rebelled against the bureaucracy back home, and then fought valiantly in a last stand to defend the old honor and culture - and then they made the white guy American, "to make it easier for Western viewers!"!!!
WTF? How much more Westerner-friendly could that story be? The real life last samurai's story even comes with convenient exposition and a cinematic climax.

Honestly the story as is is already a film. Them making the dude an American was infuriating.

Richard wouldn't pull a "Last Samurai" though: he doesn't die with honor. He wins with glory!

Edit: a Harry Potter Omake sounds amazing. But it is Duesal who will forever hold my heart, with their ASWAH!Viserys in ASOIAF Omakes. Goldfish's Worm Omake showed promise too.

I'm also quite happy, especially because she has no crafting or magical research.

She is great because she can do projects for us that would normally have to compete with crafting time or magical research tasks.

And she's got just the right kinds of magic to enhance those efforts; Divine Insight for a +12 Insight bonus and Shadow Enchantment to duplicate Investigative Mind to re-roll her Knowledge checks up to seven times per casting.

That should work out nicely for her engineering projects.

@Azel quick run-by, since I think a lot of your suggestions/ideas are contingent on the answer.

When should HPatRotD start? Book three? Four? Or Five?

I would say it can't be later than five. Someone noted that Five is when he can seriously start politicking, but I think Four gives a chance to take things slow rather than escalate balls to the wall every few chapters. Three would probably be the earliest we could go.

If we do four, he'd do DADA one year and then slot into Trelawney's post when Umbridge dismisses her. It would actually be funner that way because I actually planned for him to be good friends with her, and to be quite incensed over it, but hiding it perfectly.

@Crake, if you need access to early charactersheets for Viserys, I have access to some as far back as level 12.

EDIT: That said, I'm kind of looking forward to Dragon!Viserys in Harry Potter.

I was thinking about an eventual spin-off for my Worm crossover omakes, once the Glory and crew escape the crapsack that is Earth Bet, where each of the Companions are lost in a different dimension as they pass through a portal.

I haven't nailed down where most of them would end up yet, but if I write any of these, Garin is going to the Shadowrun setting.

We actually don't have a central bank in this setup. The crown is still issuing coinage directly and we are just using the IB as intermediate for every other fiscal action, as the Sealord asked us to. The agreement there was to marry the Iron Bank to our state to assuage the fears of the Keyholders that they will suffer the same fate as Tyroshi nobles and other "important" people the continent over.

So. Yeah. If they bite, it's done. If this agreement goes through in full, we are sharing control over the economies of Braavos and our realm with the Iron Bank, which will take over a role similar, yet not quite the same as a central bank.

The Sealord bending the knee is purely academical at that point, because then we already own his crown jewels.

When you have their full attention in your grip, their hearts and minds will follow.

We should put that on a coin.

Garin is going to end up in Shadowrun.
Don't forget Garin comes from a proud line of bankers.

It could honestly use the cast as-is, probably one-two levels higher on average, actually.

Hm... I think 4 would be a good spot. Books 1 and 2 are out, since Viserys could solve those plots in minutes and he wouldn't add much to 3.

My alternative plan would be to not send Viserys, but Dany. She gets an early admission to Hogwarts by virtue of being capable to murder a whole auror team with a flick of her wrist and starts as a firsty with Harry.

Would... would Dany really tolerate that? Being treated as a literal child?

Honestly if she went along with that BS that would break my SoD.

@Azel Those are both good ideas, but I really wanted to do one with Viserys.

We could maybe write around each other, with you doing Dany in 1st year and me doing Viserys in 4th, and then run ideas past each other.
