Ok that mean we can go ahead with my plan, we need to study Fire Whale biology, to find out how many gems they have and how many they actually need, we also need to determine how fast the gems grow, because the faster we can project profits from the plan, the faster the Whales have a sure source of income, to provide safety for a loan, and that loan can sponsor either bodyguards or gear for them, depending on whether they want to fight back themselves, or hire people to do it for them.

I'm so exciting, I think this is my first big plan in this quest that is actually going to happen, yes I know it's not happened yet, but I'm positive it will work.

I, for one, will fully support this plan

While I would love to settle the matter of Westeros in a 1 on 1 with Robert, I don't think he is suicidal enough to go for it. Even if we agree to a "no magic" rule.

OOC: This is the main reason why Caterlyn was angry in the last interlude. Ned felt he needed to get a wizard he could trust (even if by proxy) to have a look at Arya and more importantly educate not just Robb but Ned himself about sorcery.
Oh boy. They are still in that phase?

This is going to suck quite tremendously for them when we kick off the invasion.

I love how you're implying Viserys could beat Robert "Demon of the Trident" Baratheon, possibly bare-chested, with just Dark Sister in hand, like a red-headed stepchild.

Wait a knight anointed in the faith of the Seven is teaching our nephew? I wish to know more of this man of mystery. Who was his teacher and what does he have on him? Also Dany is still dream talking to Jon correct? That girl needs more family as it is. Though at some point we should have a reunion for the whole family. Perhaps after the invasion I guess

So Walys is a wizard with that spell prepared? Huh

Also goddamit Catelyn. This is a very bad time to have your head buried in the sand. At least with Ned around she probably won't be forcing Septa Mordane onto Arya in the hopes of praying away the magic.

Actually, I wanted to go True Dragon and just spread him evenly across the arena.

But frankly, we could probably pull it off easily with just Dark Sister. Dragon HD, NA and full BAB go a very long way.

He died bringing us a message from Lord Mandery about the Others acting in White Harbour. We brought him back to life.

He's a ship captain-mage through and through, the knight bit is purely to give him social power so he can act more freely.

The party are Dany's family. And Rahella, and others, too :D.

Ohhh him yeah I remember him... good we can trust him to teach our nephew though I would rather we teach him personally but they are what 9 right now? 10? Frankly they can come to us when they are older

Edit: Arent you forgetting best and only niece Rhaenys who we bought a metal griffon, which while cool was extremely dangerous, and brought back to life?

Lovely interlude DP! Man, Westeros is really behind the times here... for us at least. Its nice to be able to legitimately say that the place you're conquering will literally be destroyed by hostile outiders and chaos if we dont intervene.

I'm just... stunned, really. Our chat with Bloodraven clearly showed a high-to-epic level threat in the coming Long Night, and then here the Starks are just barely starting to learn about magic. You've got to be kidding me. At least the Wall has been taking initiative thus far.

I just want to see what loot we might find in the catacombs of House Stark. Hmmm tasty loot....

The Silver Eye politely expressed their hopes that we would take over Westeros soonish, because the rancid sewage keeps sloshing over the Narrow Sea to Braavos.

So. Yeah.

People are literally cheering us on to finally fix that dumpster fire.

"This is great!" Dany cheers from beside you, for just as you had she had read the signs upon the heavens and knew that they were blessed. Though rain would fall it would never thunder down in torrents, when the sun shines it shall ever be gentle, and even storm-winds would break against the warding wings of hope. Small yet those wings maybe, barely enough to encircle one small island even with the power of Yss behind him, but they would grow for certain.

Sorcerer's Deep Gains: Breath of Hope: Neither the city for the island it is upon may suffer inclement weather

I take it this is a stronger effect than the Lair Wards I linked previously?

Lair Wards (Draconomicon pg. 84)

Anyone who has access to that book check them out they are (practically) immobile wards that cover roughly a 400 foot area unless noted otherwise, one of these warding an area with Mindblank for 60,000gp. There is also weather calming in a 2 mile radius for 33,000, and constant Windstorm through Hurricane to Tornado strength (all have an 80 foot eye that can be expanded with further wards of the same type) for 60-90,000 plus Daylight in a 60 foot radius for 15,000 among others.

I think this might have come up before as it all seems familiar but they are very cool effects.

Can we treat Breath of Hope as the eye for any of the above storm effects?

Oh man now I'm wondering if there's really been Westerosi picking fights in Bravos now.

Dear Ned,

Catelyn can be a lovely woman who dearly loves her family.

But stop listening to her on anything important.

Regards,

All sentient Westerosi.

We don't have time to wait. Any non problematic sources of magic teaching are tho be celebrated.

And yep, totally forgot.

Viserys would be perfectly happy with an uneventful SoL date if the world would slow down and stop trying to bite his face off/set itself on fire.

I'm more surprised wr don't get petulant bad guys completely confused that we didn't stand by and let them wreck the proverbial upholstery, given how we deal with them with the same equanimity of one discussing the weather.

Remember how disturbing talking to Viserys was for a Selkie PC who didn't understand how we didn't find her mysterious at all, and balked naught at the sign of battle with elderitch abominations?
