...I think it's getting too late again, I don't understand, like, half of the intrigue in this chapter.
Does anyone mind spelling all the stuff out?
Also, @Azel, what exactly is so unexpected that happened in this chapter?

We still got to inspect the fountain on the marketplace and address the temple of Trios, though I'm not inclined to do temples back to back and they haven't asked for a meeting so far.

[X] Go to the Archons palace to see if any of the magisters have started to filter in.
-[X] Before talking to them, dictate a few short letters to be send out.
--[X] Lys and Myr: Tell them about the Daemon forces in the Tyrosh and that you took over the city. Request a meeting at their earliest convenience to re-establish normal relationships between your polities.
--[X] Sealord: Tell him about the Daemon forces and that you took Tyrosh. You have some matters that you would like to urgently discuss with him, if possible.
--[X] Uthero and Fairwinds: Tyroshi trade is slightly disrupted by a serious case of Dragon killing Daemons. You will pay reasonably for prompt delivery of basic goods, coordinated through ACSEC.
--[X] Doran: Tell him that you took Tyrosh and it would be appreciated if he can leverage Dornes new trade fleet to set sail with food shipments to prevent a famine due to the trade disruption.
--[X] Rango: Tyrosh has fallen. The only reinforcements coming to the Disputed Lands will be his. You wish him good luck and a few glorious victories.
--[:V] Robert: "Now I've got a Free City. Ho ho ho."
-[X] Take a peek at the treasury and have some small-talk with the palace clerks while doing so.

@Azel, does this part

mean we'll be taking Braavos action first thing next turn?
I hope there is no problem with taking all possible actions in Braavos then too, for 4-6 days or so in total?

I merely didn't expect him to give his best impression of a deer caught in the headlights, then bending over and taking all of it like a good prison-bitch.

Eh.

That just means fertile ground for more reconciling overtures coming next month. I want to actually rebuild the area around their temple pretty quickly as show of goodwill and see that we can tap their information network in return for publicly acknowledging our cooperation.

I suppose it is way to expensive to use a kamikaze fake Raven to do this. Is there an economically feasible way to taunt him like this? Esp. nice if we could do it in our own voice....
A lesser raven runs only 25 IM before Lyas various discounts. They are designed as kamikaze warheads and disposable messengers after all.

Though I wouldn't want any of our constructs to get into the hands of the Westerosi if I can help hit. No point in handing them something to reverse engineer on a silver platter.

Well what was he going to do?

Say no to the giant dragon man? Who just mowed down the whole city?

There's also the fact that Viserys went into that conversation with a Diplomacy bonus of at least +70, if he still had a Grand Destiny charge left and that's with a few points of Charisma knocked down from using Blood Wish.

He could have Blood Wished a Surge of Fortune spell and had a decent chance of converting the Red Priest into a Cleric of Draconic Glory.

Yes.

The former Archon made a few quite ballsy statements while having literally nothing to back up any of that bluster.

The Reds do have some actual leverage to bring to bear, simply due to the number of their followers, so I expected him to press harder on the counter threats and then having us negotiate a decent agreement for both sides in the third round.

I honestly didn't expect him to fold upon the first real push.

Being the person "who built your lovely new homes" is not sonething I'm going to let this guy profit from. Those are our squalor-livers to raise up and make fanatical! :D

Nope, it will be a joint effort. The idea behind pressuring them into aiding the urban remodeling is two-fold. On the one hand, their aid will make it quicker, even if the work-force they can bring to bear isn't nearly as much as that of a Lyre, but at the same time it generates jobs. On the other hand, it's a good start to nudge the Reds into a role where they support our anti-slavery crusade and aid the Dragon King in making the lives of the common man better.

The Reds as a whole are no different then any prospective companion. They can be suckered into our sphere of influence by making them want to be there.

Viserys had the impression that your suggestion aligned relatively closely to something he wanted to do, for what it's worth.

Ah, so he is going to pounce on the PR opportunity. We need to match that fervor with our own ASAP. @Azel, bard arcanum needs to be crafted first, and Rina should make a Lyre while the bard's being crafted. In the meantime Xor needs to be as public as possible while rebuilding.

Obviously. Xor can already get the Lyre ready, since this month we will need the full building power of him and the Arcanum to start the remodelling and fix the battle damage.

What we are doing right now is the resumption of the military shock and awe on the political layer. We are creating facts faster then our enemies can keep up with.

"Well, the dragon conquered us last night. It's great that the looting was stopped so quickly but it still happened so... oh, there are the looters hanging already. That was quick. Though I still have to make some room for my extended family, who lost their house and I need some work, so... oh, they are rebuilding already and hiring. Guess that settles that. Probably don't need to think about all of this before he holds that speech then. Theres work to be done after all."

Basically, we don't give them time to ponder what happened and establish a flow that has them just goin on with life while being told what to do and what to think.

In times of uncertainty, people latch on every bit of order and stability they can find and we will be that order and stability.
