[X] NOTE: If either group in the Feywild is met with an obstacle that requires a suicidal, unavoidable and impractically high DC to get past, or somehow, with barely any time to prepare (leaving out the Golden Court who prepared their escape routes in advance) them erasing all trace of their existence, one or both groups will return to the Prime Material and remain in Sorcerer's Deep until Viserys decides on his next move with regards to the imminent invasion.

So do we have any of those Planar Refuge based defenses we talked about ready for this, or are we going to need to throw something together last minute? I'm hesitant about chasing the fey onto their home ground without a way to avoid their nonsense environment.

Just for the record: bringing Qyburn and the undead into the Feywild is extremely likely to automatically result in a battle. For pretty obvious reasons. You know. I mean... *points to the eldritch horror marching in the center of a formation of the living dead*

I just removed him and the Undead. I guess I should also just leave Xor with Moonsong, tbh...

Edit: Gave him to the Misfits group, just in case they're apparently not yet prepared to deal with one old archnemesis. Doesn't mean the Fey can handle dealing with a Companion.

Qyburn and Undead I'm not sure what to do with, if we're certain wherever they go is just going to result in a fight.

Lol! You know I love how petty Viserys is, it is just the most hilarious thing. Here we are the Dragon Sorcerer Emperor of a rapidly industrializing early modernish magitech empire that will control the better part of two continents by the end of the year and we are personally going after some mid CR fey because they ticked us off.

This is almost as funny as the wisps (DD is a more serious problem, but the wisps actually managed to do more than annoy us).

Well, we might be able to suckle some sweet Mythic juice out of Dusk Dancers corpse, so there is that. So there's also the loot to consider.

@Goldfish @Azel

Just for reference, but even if this whole "track the fey down" dealie takes a few weeks even considering all the people we're throwing at the problem, is that any great impediment to the rest of our plans?

I honestly find it hard to imagine they can flee far enough unless they had a strong point and a way around high DC misdirecting environments... but we can meet any DCs for "get lost in the fairy forest" type effects pretty trivially, or disjunct a ward, or... I don't see many reasons outside of high Mythic disaster zones that they gambled their own necks to get past themselves, and considering one of them was gravely wounded I doubt that is the case.

I guess I should just add a clause that if either group meets with no good leads, they return to Planetos to deal with Westeros first before worrying about the Fey. Which would likely have the natural consequence of letting them get away since I doubt we'll have the time or opportunity to do it again for at least a few months, at which point if I was intelligent I would erase all trace of my existence and plot my revenge.

What I'm saying is... I would very much like to kill Dusk Dancer. Erasing all chances of that not happening within the next twenty or so updates would be something naturally aligned with my interests. I think I speak for @Duesal as well!

@Crake, personally, I am as disinclined going to Feywild as possible, when we are on brink of a turnvote.
We have things to do next mknth, besides the Fey, and you essentially assign a shitload of people from the get-go.

If we want to hunt down the Fey and risk the Feywild?
We can always make an action for the turn, but there's other shit that needs our attention, too.

[X] Start looking for the Court
-[X] Numbers and people up to decision with the coming turnvote.
-[X] next update: the rest of reports concerning remains of CoS.

I for one am fine with spending half the next turn just dealing with this. I sincerely doubt we'll do anything about them if we don't do it now. We'll be far too busy. I certainly won't vote for it later if we don't do it now, since there are too many things we'll be focused on and can't ease off of after Westeros starts.
