Lord Serry is about to have a very, very bad time.

And with House Elwood, I am amazed they still hold that stance. Even Varys started using magic for his own ends.

@DragonParadox, is there any sort of connection remaining between the Wardbreaking Gem and whoever makes it?
Mayhaps divining the maker's location (or being divined by the maker) is possible?


@Crake, your ideas about the item's potential, being..?

Because all I'm thinking up with it, is crafting an Advanced Launcher system with True Shot and (can't find spells right now, those are a thing tho) automatic projectile crit and automatic confirmation on crit-effects and lobbing one under the scales of whichever Avatar we fight next.

I do wonder if we can pull a "6 second Noodle" on him, if he ever gets off his plane in an Avatar form.

If this gem is an option to get a jump on him, well... it isn't happening soon, but something to keep in mind :V
 
I have some more low level mind defenses for public use:

Rite of Centered Mind: a level one spell, that lasts 24 hours or until discharged. It provides a +1 resistance bonus against mind effecting affects that increases to +2 for emotional effects. It can also be discharged for a reroll if you fail a saving through against mind effecting affects.

Clarity of Mind: a level three spell that lasts 1 hour/ CL. It provides a +4 insight bonus against all spells with the charm, compulsion, or glamer descriptors.

Runeward Tattoo: This provides a +1 resistance bonus against the spell school the tattoo is keyed to, alerts the subject when a spell of that type is cast within 60ft, and allows them to use detect magic at will limited to detecting spells of that same school.
 
@egoo Using the Gem and a guaranteed effect on a high tier BBEG was my idea. Something that would leave it absolutely vulnerable for coup de grace via artifact would be preferable.
