Done. Could you also edit in the amendment from yesterday yet or should I threadmark that separately until your computer works again?
Edited that stuff.

We may want to look into getting a better ritual for getting the Erines out of hell's hands. Rather we did not have a mortality rate.

The mortality rate is strictly a product of the Erinyes sometimes choosing to remain loyal to Mammon, in which case we kill them so they can be reborn in Hell.

Part MMMDCLIX: Report on Patrols over the Sunset Shore
Report on Patrols over the Sunset Shore

Seventh Day of the Third Month 294 AC

The installment of serpentstone projectors on wyverns to better capture intelligence directly from the scene was not as straightforward as our engineers* might have hoped. The projectors are delicate enough to crack from the pressures of fast turns and high acceleration, prompting the creation of a protective casings. Though the experimentation did not come without a cost we are certain the developments will serve us in good stead even in the strangest of skies.

Lost 8,000 IM

As for the flights themselves the reaction of the local populace and other observers varied widely. On the coast of the Stormlands near the Parchments we were greeted with wailing, the sound of horns calling men to muster and even sept bells ringing sanctuary. On the Coast of Blackwater Bay and within the estuary of the Blackwater our presence seems to have alerted the local mages because by the third day of operations there was evidence of sporadic arcane attacks with the equivalent of light weaponry used in the War of Three Spheres.

While such emplacements could theoretically strike and damage a wyvern their operators were anything but skilled in their use. It is clear they had been translocated, possibly based on divinations, in the hope of ambushing our wings, but the House of Mirrors warned us in turn, allowing us to show just enough to make the enemy seem even more ineffective than they truly would have been under normal engagement conditions. Images of the event were of course captured for analyses and morale boosting purposes.

The Fingers, the Bay of Crabs and White Harbor presented no particular hurdles or events, though the same could not be said about the Neck where for the first five days of scouting mists lay heavy enough on the land to make a Braavosi stare. It cleared up on the sixth day when one of the King's wards, a Wisdom Reva, said we should take a green priest of the Old Gods to quiet some kind of local spirits or fey. After ensuring that no harm would come of the King's ward** and dragon rider she was taken up to deal with the matter. The mist cleared soon after to reveal much of what we had been expecting to see, a swamp, albeit one with a lot more people and a lot more traffic to and fro than we had been lead to believe the area supported.

In the Reach we faced nothing worse than storms blowing off the Sunset Sea and near the Arbor one low altitude flight was briefly cheered by the populace in what seemed to be a spontaneous gesture of support, though it might also have been the work of supporters of the King among the local lords of whose existence I am not privy to. If they could divine our coming to try to take potshots in the Crownlands then they should have been able to do so, the better for the 'smallfolk' to cheer us in the Reach.

Smarter than half the courtiers that flock like starlings around court if they did plan it.

*Note: Here referring to the tinker fey attached to the Wyvern Wings. Though they have an unusual knack for arcane mechanisms they are not given the same control as true mage-smiths who perform the monthly inspections due to their frequent desire to weaponize unusual aspects of the craft.
**Note: Higher Divinations calling upon the Vessel of the Serpent God were invoked.

You set down the report with a smile. You suspect you were supposed to get a copy without the author's personal thoughts on courtiers, but the adjutants here at the keep have long since learned that you enjoy reports with a bit of a personal touch, the better to see the people behind the seals and signatures. Your realm had long ago grown too large to know all of them, but that only means you enjoy these brief glimpses all the more.

What next?

OOC: I hope the format works. I wanted to give the update a bit more personality than just a simple report.

[X] Tireless Steel by Sorcery Moved: The art of golem-making is ancient indeed... but one has to wonder if it is possible to wring an armor in the same qualities, to create personal defense truly unsurpassable. (Requires the "Layering the Defenses"-Research Action)

(12/18 Progress)
----[X] Valeria the Wondersmith (4d6 Progress);

I feel somewhat awkward forcing the month's start to be a load of disjointed narratives, but at least we can approach those that will take time to show on-screen in a reasonable fashion and not break them up with the other stuff... :/
Also, this above is the last "quick report" I'm seeing right now that we'd get with several actions in, everything else seems pr-retty much too different to lob several reports in one chapter.

That reminds me, @DragonParadox, the following people are overdue for hatching their dragon eggs: Reva Bealus & Liset Bealus & Aenie Caleris & Aelor Caleris. I always imaged them as having joint study sessions or something in getting the eggs to hatch.

But, like, seriously.
if ya guys feel like doing something else, or in different order, now's about the time to speak up. Before I'm too commited.
1) Reports that won't take long to get IC, stuff that was either already started (some RAs, Braavosi swamps, etc) and a few MAs.

2) We vote to start building magical offshore tax havens off-plane Demiplane'd Snares, and do that IC up to the 11th of this month.
Starting the 11th IC Viserys will start his part in "Operation: Starfall"
Just need @Goldfish to do his thing. You know. The goldfish thing.

3) The rest of RAs and MAs, stuff that isn't narratively important, but will arrive in IC-time by the end of the month, even if we see it way ahead of the timeline by our mysterious OOC ways.
Just stuff that isn't going to lead us to retroactive time-paradoxes. We don't want those.

3.Buttercup) this is the part where we see Viserys being Chaotic Evil Buttercup.

4) Operation Woodlouse report.
Because it is the one we are least likely to have to send people to as a consequence of retroactive-time.
Whatever fails happen at the Lannisters' den, we aren't going there ourselves, lest we start the Reconquest far too soon.

5) Slavers' Bay reports.

6) R'hlor vs Ymeri bitchslapping contest interludes. Just a few, long as it doesn't blot itself out.

7) Starfall Op interludes (summoning in the SD snare; our unaware minions acting as if they are doing something of value against CoS; and so on); on-screen action (a few chapters of Viserys and Lya summoning tons of Demons off-plane. Probably dealing with comliications, too).

8) Infrastructure, economics, strategic actions reports.

9) Teh ritual, and invading CoS.
Nice month transition as any. :V

Does this manner of sequence of events for the month seems reasonable enough to y'all?
Being utterly anal about following through with 'decided' timetables and checklists is, sadly, one character trait I've yet to conquer over the years of playing the quest.
...Being aware of it doesn't mean I won't start autistically screeching at y'all at random.

By the way, now that I see Anu here, I forgot to ask during the turnplanning, will we have to take action to give the people of Sarnor their shiny metal bodies and raise our army of pseudo-Necrons help them back to normal life?

Here's an edited version of the chapter, DP.

I liked the formatting of this one, too. Hopefully we'll see more of Captain Lucerys in the future.
