Goldfish, if 3 mirrors are available, I would appreciate you putting them at SD Scholarum, Tyrosh Scholarum, and one other open Scholarum (which are even operating st this point?).
I like the edits. Not too elaborate or time-consuming, but definitely showing Viserys casting at high speed.
Seriously though, this whole chapter was a tragic trainwreck. Tragic in the classical style, where everything is stupid and yet makes depressing sense, with people's inherent flaws and long-held passions leading them on a fated path to their doom.
I hate it, but I also love it.
This pretty much sums up how I felt after writing it. And why I was probably rather uncharitable in my replies last night. I hate hurting characters I write for, and yet sometimes their own natures and the world around them doesn't give me a choice. It still flipping sucks and is draining as hell to put together.
Good point. Let's give her a PoSK of Tongues, and a PoSK of Shield instead of Comprehend Languages.
I was suggesting a physical mithral shield because it doesn't require an action to cast, has no ASF or check penalty, and is light to carry. But if you think a magical shield fits her character better (she is not really a hardened combatant, after all) then why not!

That's already happening after the festival is over. Those slated to go to the various Scholarium branches were being used for Festival purposes in other locations. Even after placing one in the SD, Tyrosh, and Mantarys Scholarium branches, we'll still have three extras.

Permanance Spell Immunity (Dispel Magic, Greater Dispel Magic, Antimagic Field, etc.) on one of them, Harden it so that damaging it becomes nigh-impossible, and then hang it from the front of the Red Keep

Added a Shield and Tongues PoSK for her, along with a +3 Resistance bonus upgrade.
We'll need to commission another sets of Soulfire Bracers for her, though. Better to pay the additional crafting cost than tie up that much capacity, IMO.

Worked out with DP:
Tier 1: SR 13, Resistance fo Fire 20 - +1
Tier 2: SR 19, Resistance to Fire 30 - +3
Tier 3: SR 25, Immunity to Fire - +4
And you need the previous tier to add the second (much like the Burst enchantments need the basic 1d6 elemental ones), and you need to put these on VS, so it ends up with a +10 equivalent at Tier 3.
To make sense due Ser Richard's armor, we were thinking of doing a separate, fixed cost one too:
- Tier 1: 3/day Lesser Globe of Invulnerability for 1 minute - 3k IM
- Tier 2: 3/day Globe of Invulnerability for 15 rounds - 7k IM
- Tier 3: 3/day Swift Globe of Invulnerability for 2 minutes - 10k IM
Those are enchanting costs.
The bonus being that these move with you, bu the catch is that you'd need the corresponding tier of the previous enchantment as to put this on.
A paired set of Dragonrider Armor and Barding can have the dragon emanate the Globe, too.
Beyond additional abilities, and the +2 Enhancement bonus from being Valyrian Steel, the actual Enhancement bonus is currently just a +1. It already has Fire Resistance 30. So since his armor is a special case, with extra power added due to various Celestial and Diabolic influence, rather than requiring a total of another +8 in Enhancements to reach SR 25 and Fire Immunity, could we just jump it straight to Tier 3 Enhancement by increasing the overall Enhancement bonus by +5? @DragonParadox?
Also, DP, how much would it cost to add more charges to the armor?
A thought: we're building space fighter craft. Insight bonuses are the best bonuses, and our elites really should be getting insight bonuses (to skills, attack, damage, AC) out the wazoo from magic gear if not from magic & levels.
Why?
A Brilliant Energy Greatsword is basically a lightsaber. Can you see where I'm going with this?

I've always been disappointed by the Brilliant Energy enchantment. It's nice at killing living stuff, but if your weapon looks like a fucking lightsaber, it should cut shit like a lightsaber, not pass through it harmlessly.

Stone to Flesh + [that spell that makes undead count as alive] lets you cut pretty much anything (except for Constructs - is there a spell for making Constructs count as alive?). Then add in massive damage, and you really can cut through anything!
Too expensive to be practical, but certainly amazing.

On the topic of Insight bonuses, ignoring disappointing lightsaber ripoffs, those will probably be a project to start adding in a couple months. This coming month is going to focus on upgrading arms and armor, adding Resistance bonuses, further upgrading stat boosters, etc. Once those basics are covered a bit more thoroughly, then we can start branching out somewhat.
@Azel 20d6 damage per Suicide Drone sounds pretty good to me.
Half Piercing half Fire damage is kind of odd, though, DP. The Explosive Packs normally deal Bludgeoning/Slashing damage only. Maybe change is to half Bludgeoning half Piercing?
That sounds more like a weapon for a bomber than a fighter. Load a large bomber with 30 of those and we can destroy entire buildings. Use flights or even air wings of bombers and we have a solution to the hordes of Wights in the North.

@Goldfish, long ago, DP told me that it would be possible to get adamantine DR on Ser Richard's armor since it isn't actually Valyrian Steel anymore. It changed after it was last upgraded. I think it still keeps the magical properties, but it won't eat other metals anymore.
