What was the plan with the Elysian Bronze again? A new armor for Waymar?
Yes, new armor for Waymar. DP ruled that all the effects of Elysian Bronze and his PrC will stack in the most favorable ways, so I wanted to secure 55 lbs for some Reinforced Segmented Elysian Bronze Fullplate, possibly to be runeforged in the future if Lya ever found the time.

That said, I'd rather buy it elsewhere if possible. 800 IM/lbs is ridiculous.

The nobility thing is unnecessary, as we don't need more then 100 guards anyway.

As for the Titan Tools:

-[] Use one set of the Tools to expand the Circle of Battle in preparation for the festival, while the other one resumes building the Stepstones bridges.
Added.

Would Viserys think it would be an insulting move to offer up an equivalent title of nobility to the Sultan?

I'm imagining a situation in which us, the Sultan, and the Griever are all technically nobility under each other in the interests of increased personal privileges in each others' realms as well as binding the realms together more strongly.

It's one thing to be allies in war and another to have direct investments in each others' realms.

It would be mildly insulting yes. Yours is a very young realm and for now a junior partner in the allaince.

[X] Move on

[X] Work within the present limitations (Cost of land 30,000 IM)
-[X] Guard composition will be decided next month when construction efforts begin. For now, an empty plot needs no guards.

[X] Use one set of the Titan Tools to expand the Circle of Battle to the full size you originally designed in preparation for the festival, while the other one resumes building the Stepstones bridges.

@Azel Please add these to your vote. They keep getting overlooked and I would really like to get them taken care of before we forget again.

@Duesal
The minor boni against magical beasts and monstrous humanoids are not worth it anyway.
Neither of those are enemies of importance, at most we'll likely see those as chaff for the Deep Ones.

It's not just the bonus against magical beasts and monstrous humanoids, I was hoping to get it runecrafted at some point for extra benefits if we ever found the time, moulding it to Waymar's legend. I'm not pushing to buy it here due to the ridiculous pricing, but I definitely want it eventually.

So runecraft Waymar's current armor that he already did some legendary stuff in.

Or get him a new one of mundane bronze and enchant that.
No point in using an exotic material of minor improvements here.

The Elysian Bronze is a lot neater to me than mundane bronze, I've been hoping for it for a while. It's only a matter of waiting until we can reasonably afford it, or simply finding a supply that doesn't have absurd prices. At that point there will be little reason not to get it.

Elysian Bronze can only be found from relics by the look of it. Meaning that each one has its own legend thus meaning that the armour being made is easier to use runes on. Honestly buying it in the Opaline vault isn't too much of a hassle considering we are going there this month.

There is also little reason to get it.

Starmetal is already one of the best materials in the entire game.
Waymar's class ensures that he doesn't need anything more fancy than what his ancestors already fought with for his style.
That's his legacy, not anything connected to an outer plane the world hasn't heard about in millenia.

@Azel - a specific reason the Sultan wouldn't be able to use some of his own troops to guard an interplanar trade hub?

There are quite a few things in this quest that aren't necessary but that people want solely because they're neat. This is one of them for me. I like Elysian Bronze, and if possible I'll try to get it.

His legacy is bronze in general, and Elysian Bronze qualifies.

What's our current progress on them, btw?
On the second bridge of the northern trunkline right now. Progress will be a bit slower now, due to the east needing infrastructure.

Done.

Doesn't matter. We should still station a bunch of our own people there.

It's a nice to have thing but I won't cry if we don't find anything. It would be neat if after some apocalypse hundreds of thiusatho of years I. The future people find Waynar armor.and find it underwelming, until a plucky adventurer starts to thread the same path as our lovable shonen protagonist
