The Infinite War is over, and the Sephirim have been beaten back. You are a commander of the Cybran Nation, thrown into an unknown and violent galaxy. Shall you break the chains of these worlds, or fall like the untold trillions across the Imperium?
Charecter Creation
Unknown - 3854.5

Your head burns, the voice inside it screaming in alarm and panic. You can already feel yourself checking alerts, vacuum sealing the ACU, pulling out the breakers allowing the stream of electricity frying your little buddy. Finally you open your eyes, seeing only the blackness of night and twinkling stars above you.

"COMMANDER. WAKE UP PAL. UNKNOWN LOCATION DETECTED. ROUTING SENSOR DATA INTO NEURAL INTERFACE."

The strong smell of lemons was the best approximation your sensors could give you as to your surroundings. You could feel gravity, at least, keeping your arms trapped down on the somewhat squishy ground. Your ACU is on its back, and a single push of some handy retros quickly gets you back on your feet. In front of you, a single sheet of soft, yellowish-green mush extended as far as both your eyes and sensors could see. There were hills of it, sure, but nothing stood above the fleshy covering.

Who are you?

You are an ACU commander of the Cybran nation, a disparate force of former cybernetic slaves freed from the loyalty program by your brothers. You served against the slavers of the UEF and the murderers of the Aeon Illuminate before joining forces in the Colonial Defense Coalition against the Seraphim. Brackman saw the chance for liberation and peace in your skills, and charged you with protecting the innocent and breaking the chains of the oppressor.

What is your name?
[]David Mathis

What is your specialty?
[]Hacker
You are the wasp in the wall, the shark on the submarine, and the fucker everybody hates to fight. Combined with your Symbiont, you wreck havoc on enemy systems, blinding them to your units, ordering ludicrously expensive projects, confusing enemy IFF, and generally being a nuisance to your enemies.

[]Guerrilla
You hate a fair fight, an artillery duel, or anything that requires you to toss easily recoverable materials into a meatgrinder. Using custom units built by a pirated QCAD system, you fight the long war in the trees, under the sea, and hidden in the clouds.

[]Assassin
You always wanted to be the one holding the knife at someone's throat, and Brackman gave you the names of those who were deserving of that fate. Utilizing the teleporters, cloaking technology, and the biggest guns you can staple onto your ACU, you leave your enemy no opportunity to respond with anything but screams.

Choose one personality trait:
[]Believer: You truly believe in freeing those that have been oppressed, and see their liberation as the priority above all else. What use is a nation if its people are not free to live? What use is a nation if people are not free to thrive?

[]Pride: You hold yourself to better standards than anyone else around you. You are never enough for their support, and will fight to earn the respect of those you meet.

[]Nerd: You have always been obsessed with how the world ticks. Your symbiont was implanted years before the average, and you were designing an ACU of your own before a fellow Cybran freed your mind. Now you have your own toys, and the ability to modify them as you please.

[]Silent: You were out of the office before people realized you were ever in. You heard what the analysts said, how officers complained about this and that, and when commanders were going to an important front of the war. You could blend in, keeping a coilgun hidden until the perfect moment to "destabilize" control over entire sectors.

Choose one precept for your Symbiont:
[]Bloodthirsty: It wanted nothing more than to soak in blood, both literally and figuratively. It was bred specifically for war, and treats any endeavor as such. When an equation is presented, its first question is which variable is the enemy.

[]Eccentric: It was always odd. Most Symbionts were content to assist where needed, talk if the need arises, and enjoyed the simple pleasures of work. Yours was different, seeking something within your mind. The world is your oyster, and this one wants to find the closest rock to crack it open.

[]Jealous: You could always feel it looking through files, watching you, waiting for you to do something so it could spring into action and help. Whether out of desperation for company, an abusive past, or the simple want of affection, this Symbiont wants you to be happy and with it whenever possible.

[](Write in, but make it interesting! A bland AI is possible, but not as fun to write.)

ACU Upgrade:
[]Drop-Thrusters: Made for orbital entry and reentry, the ACU is fitted with strong heat shielding, thrusters, and basic interstellar craft for travel. While unconventional in the age of quantum gates, it still provides a violent and fast method of joining a conflict.

[]Screamer: Initially created as a torture method, the Screamer was found more effective at permanently disabling the sensors of any unit within miles of its activation, revealing them to the user at the same time in a range of sensor details.

[]Strange Slurry: Dense as butter, emitting waves on a frequency only you know, this is the culmination of UEF and Aeon fears: a genuinely perpetual Von Neumann Machine. Powered by quantum instability, fed by microscopic mass generators, and perpetuating quickly, it forms a network as it grows.

General Starting Info
Hello! For this quest I am mainly going to be using SV's voting system along with inbuilt roller! I may mess up a few things given this is my first quest, but I hope to learn while writing. I will allow for some leeway in going "Yeah SupCom rules yeah!" but expect 40K sized problems if you do so. A human-AI hybrid is just begging for certain groups to tear apart and investigate, after all :p.

    [X] Plan: Another type
[X] Name: John Paul (Named after the famous revolutionary captain from old earth)
[X] Adaptable (specialty): The infinite war could be said to many people but stagnant would be a stretch. Every day new ideas, new war machines, new commanders are sent onto the battlefield to fight. You could focus on one thing but hells if you find someone to counter that your sure as dead. So you chose to by the jack of all trades dip your toe into every battle class you could attend, every old tactic book you could read, and as many virtual battles you could fit in your time slate. Many commanders will be better than you, but when sh*t hits the fan you sure as hell are ready with a bucket and mop to clean up the mess.
[X]Unity (Personality): You once were a zealot for the cause a fighter that wanted to bring down the UEF oppressor and the genocidal Aeon. Yet after dealing with a UEF commander and being alone on a world for so long with said commander fighting a never-ending battle. You came to understand that at the end humans can't stand divided. Now you fight for a cause that the war against the seraphim ignited. To fight for a united humanity unshackled by the powers that be in united in a cause to uplift and united all of humanity for a true golden age of unity, no masters, no gods, only humanity and its strive.
[X] Brotherhood (Symbiont): Its a strange thing always having another voice in your head, hells some nights it still keeps you up always knowing that there's someone else in the room. But with your Symbiont you've grown a strange brotherhood with it, fighting through the endless wars getting out of tough spots. The symbiont was always there for you giving you help and being like a brother you never had. It will stand by you when your right and make sure to rub it in your face when you do something stupid or wrong. But hell what are brothers for.
[X] UEF package (ACU upgrade): You've had this thing for a while every since you've had meet ups with your UEF commander friend. the last meeting you had with them before being sent to hold the line was a small cube with the UEF symbol on it. You have a hint of what it is with all the UEF encryption on it, but it'll be a hell of a time to crack it open. (Pretty much a mystery box but I'm thinking maybe roll of dice to either unlock UEF units, or a box to make something up.)
