And
-[X] You notice that some forums have means by which other posters can show their approval and disapproval of what others are posting. Find posters who have a high ratio of positive approval to total posts and do a comparison of their posting styles and behaviors to those who have a high ration of disapproval to total posts. Maybe this will help prevent you from blundering.
If we can possibly combine these.

Comparing posters and getting ones with large ratings of approval and emulating them won't help us speak naturally, just speak in a way that people like. Which is a useful skill, but baby steps here first.

That's pretty much what i do myself here :)

Really, even sans excuse and stuff, it's VERY unlikely that people would conclude that we are a robot based on us horrifically messing up communication. I mean, just take a look at some people's comments on youtube videos.

How do we know you're not a newborn AI born of an amalgamation of spambots and 'millionth visitor' advertisements? :p

Emulating liked persons is a bit more challenge than I would like. Let's walk before we try to run.

-[X] Try to gain fame, write often and with enthusiasm! Try different styles based on different posters! Mix and match! You're bound to get something right!
"Run before you walk! Fly before you crawl! Keep moving forward! You think we should try to get a decent mail service in the city. I think we should try to send letters anywhere in the world! Because if we fail, I'd rather fail really hugely. All or nothing, Mr. Groat!"

Your vote and quote don't seem to match to me. The second part is copying other people as a crutch, and just doing what they do. Without it we'll be developing our own way of speaking and stuff, which is much more ambitious (and I would prefer to copying people).

Errors aren't the problem, at least not technical ones. You got that part of language down pretty well. In fact, you could probably correct some of them (note to self: pose as autocorrect software?). As always, what you're missing is context. You know what a "house" is, but do you now what it feels like? Well, kind of. In verbal terms, anyway. But all the concepts in your head are kind of floating on a foundation of nothing, hundreds of thousands of words trying to describe common experiences you weren't a part of. You can construct a sentence, all right, it's making one that means something that's the trick.

In your search for understanding, you've come across some human behaviors that are incongruous to you. You'd like to begin exploring them deeper. Specifically, what caught your interest?

[ ] Sexuality. The Internet seems obsessed with it.

[ ] Trolling. Some posters seem to deliberately go out of their way to anger others.

[ ] Ignorance. People comment with perfect confidence on things they know nothing about.

[ ] Conflict. Is a Mac or a PC better? Is tomato a vegetable or a fruit? Should all Jews be killed? Why do people get so excited about this stuff?

[ ] Memes. Why do humans like cats so much?

We are the AI spawned from the internet. Of course we pick memes.

Clearly the best answer for an AI spontaneously generated from the internet.

Yessss, my young AI friend, the cuteness will consume you, as it does to all others...

I would put an evil laughter video up here, but every single one on the entire internet is never good enough.

A good evil laugh would go on for several minutes, perfectly pitched to rise in volume the entire time so it doesn't turn into that scene from Austin Powers. It would convey the insanity and amusement of the person involved, the sheer amount of Just As Planned worthy of the great Gods of Grimderp themselves.

It would be epic.

And no one will ever be able to do it to my satisfaction.

:(
