A Play of Blood and Shot RP

Lemonwood, 272 A.C.

Chaso would find Lysaro in his solar with the three Norvosi attendants and Tondha Toq, Lady Toto, whose big cat slept lazily on one of the divans.

Ebonheart, 272 A.C.

"So you want to breed Okshana as you did Chaso and the whores before?" asked Okshana.

"Lysaro. I'm looking for my sons."
She haughtily ignored Tondha.
=====
"That is what a marriage is for, Okshana." He eyed her appraisingly. "And you still manage to look like a freshly flowered maiden after three children. It's enough to make a man's blood boil."

Tondha laughed and sat back beside her cat, chewing sourleaf.

"They are elswhere," Lysaro said simply, looking up from his desk. "We have been over this a thousand times."

-

"Okshana is not a brood mare," she bit back. "No more."

"They have been elsewhere for several months. Were you intending to keep me from them forever?"
=====
"You've never been a brood mare.... but you are my wife, and a gorgeous woman who I want to plow like a 50-acre farm in the Reach."

"They come here often enough, I just contrive to keep you apart from them," he returned. "They live very close by, I am with them twice a week if not more."

=

She chuckled.

She glared silently.
===
"Do you love our children Okshana? Do they make you happy?"

"Will I have to ride off through the countryside to find them, or will you tell me?"
===
"You are not happy?"

"Tell you what?"

-

"Our family is incomplete. You let Chaso murder your women, give away your children and have never fought to get them back. This is not the Lord of Thunder Okshana loves. Okshana fears you cannot protect us, do not want to protect us."

"Where. My. Sons. Are."
=====
Aethan sighed. "What would you have me do? Kill a defenseless woman, who I love, who is mother of my children? It won't bring them back. I have tried to keep others from danger from here, and that is why we're here instead of in Lemonwood. As to my children.... their children... I will speak to Daena, but she has a dragon and I.... do not."

"Ebonheart, I believe?" ventured Tondha.

-

"A foolish woman," she noted. "A man must avenge such wrongs. And you do not have a dragon because you have not deserved one. What are we doing here? There are no dragons here. Dragons and children must be claimed all."

She made a dismissive gesture at Tondha.
"Daethon and Vhaeron. Where are they?"
====
"My firstborn son is here."

"Nearby," reaffirmed Lysaro.
-

"Surrounded by everything he needs."
"Stop being purposefully obtuse, Lysaro! You know I want to see them!"
=====
"We can take a trip. But I won't leave him without a father or mother."
He planted a kiss on her lips.
"After all, parenthood is such a joy."

-

She returned the kiss, but did not understand.

"Leave us." The three Norvoshi left; Tondha stayed. "How well do you ride a horse, my love?" He pushed away his papers.

-

"You will leave Okshana behind to be his mother?"
"Decently." Her eyes flicked to Tondha. "Why do you ask?"

-

"If that's what you want. I would rather take you with me."
