A man who loved Isekai stories reincarnated into a nonstandard urban fantasy world with a status system integrated to their daily lives. The protagonist reincarnated as a girl, much to their surprise.
It was a world where people can gain status by taking a test in their inner world. People have innate abilities that was comparable to a superpower. Every race lives in coexistence. Good and evil was undefined. And many more.
The story of how this girl becomes the strongest because of her knowledge from her past life starts now!
My vision is so blurry. I can barely see anything!
Ugh... I feel so sleepy... I don't know how many days has passed. I know it must have been weeks because I always briefly wake up, drink something, and sleep once more.
Now, I can see clearly. It's an unfamiliar ceiling. A beautiful woman is holding me as I am feeding on her... well, you know it.
I am now a baby.
It's as simple as that!
As to the beautiful woman who is feeding me, it is definitely my mother on this life. I can't understand what she is saying. I'll have to listen to her for awhile before I can finally understand her.
I am a man, or well... I believed I still am. I can't really turn my head down to see if I still have my little John.
Still, if I reincarnated, that means this world is a fantasy world, right?
Isekai. One of my favorite genre of story in my past life. Most people will say it is a trashy genre, and I admit it is. But it has a certain appeal that always pulls me in!
It's literally a wish-fulfillment story, and while there are other authors who makes twists on it just to make it unique, the OG Isekai kit is still the ones who gives the main character unfair advantages compared to the natives of the world they found themselves in.
I like it. I always dreamed of having that kind of Isekai.
90% of Isekai stories that I read always have a fantasy medieval setting, so if I am experiencing one of the staples of Isekai stories like being reincarnated, then it should follow the same trope of being reincarnated into a fantasy world.
I'll get to see those beautiful elves! Or fight against a demon king, who turns out to be a beautiful woman! Or maybe even get a veritable amount of beautiful girls at my side as I traveled around the world! Maybe I will get a cheat ability too!?
I feel so excited!
I have to check out what kind of fantasy world is this. Will it be one where it has RPG elements in it, or will it be those type where it's pure fantasy?
The ability to convert MP into basic materials, and the ability to convert everything into something better. Converting things into better one needs a sufficient amount of tributes before it can be done.
Okay, that is very cool!
So I am in a world with RPG elements in it, and if I am seeing this right, I can raise my status right now!
That sounds great!
I want to poke the (+) button on the PHY side of my status, but my hands can't reach it and I can barely move them.
... Really? What? Turns out, I get status by having a test inside my mind. I get these prompts while the world around me is paused, and only my mind functions during the test.
The test includes a series of very simple questions that even preschoolers should know. I still don't get any pattern as to how these status are picking their questions, but all of them are so simple that I am not thinking so much about it.
These are just an example of questions I got, which I easily answered.
For Vitality...
Test 1. What is an act that exercises your body by lightly running?
A.) Running
B.) Sprinting
C.) Jogging
D.) Push Ups
It's pretty easy. The only thing warm in there is Fire. Unless the test giver is an asshole and says it's water or wind because there are also warm water and warm breeze, Fire is an obvious answer!
Good thing my answer is right.
Charisma also gives a different question.
Test 1. How do you define a person that you find lovable?
A.) Charming
B.) Disgusting
C.) Adorable
D.) Deplorable
It's a dice. The question makes it clear at a first glance!
Those are the types of questions that it gives me.
It's really weird. What kind of Isekai it is that makes gaining status a test?
Do I have to brush up on my knowledge again?
Not trying to brag, but I am smarter than most until senior high school. It is only when I got into college that I became beyond average level for students.
I simply chose to focus my time on my hobbies. Well, it doesn't matter now because I am in another world.
Anyway, if gaining status is simple like this, then I can easily raise my status!
I will become the strongest in this world, then I will enjoy my life in this world! A year quickly passed when I learned something about myself.
There is something lacking in my lower body. Something that is very essential to me. Though I should have expected it after reading my name constantly as I take some tests to raise my status.
My little John is gone!
Oh my god, I am a girl!
What the fuck!?
Got into a slump when I'm writing Modern World Cloner, and decided to take a rest on that story for now.
This idea came to my mind, and I decided why not?
So this story is actually a mix of many of my ideas. I thought of this interesting idea where instead of gaining status normally, the people have to take test in their mind to get a status point. Or an idea where the MC have the power to convert anything. Or it should be an Isekai, or even an urban fantasy setting.
It's a lot of ideas really. All of which makes me excited to write about, then stopped because I can't write it fully if I just pick a single idea.
So I decided, why not combine it all?
And this story came to be.
Sorry for writing another story again... this one just formed on my head while I am staring at my notepad in my phone like an idiot, thinking how to continue Modern World Cloner...
The ability to convert MP into basic materials, and the ability to convert everything into something better. Converting things into better one needs a sufficient amount of tributes before it can be done.
Just checking as the wording was a little odd. Might want to switch out 'amount of' for 'number of' for clarity. Also earlier you either want to switch out 'better one' for either 'better ones' if it is intended to be plural or 'a better one' if it is intended to be plural.
Regardless seems like an interesting ability, looking forward to seeing what you do with it. Keep up the good work!
It's been four years since I got reincarnated. I reluctantly accepted that I will be living as a girl for the remainder of my life as time passes.
Our family lived in a poor apartment complex. It's an apartment complex that has no locks for doors, no security, and almost everyone can come and go as they please.
Everyone in this apartment complex are considered family. This two story apartment complex has sixteen rooms in total, and our family shares almost everything to the others.
It's... really weird.
They have their own version of electricity, which is unsurprisingly called magical energy. With magical energy, they can power up every appliances in this apartment.
On the other side of our apartment are another set of apartment complexes. It's basically a residential area of apartment complexes.
The roads are made of cement. Everything are built in concrete instead of bricks like what I am expecting. There are the occasional vehicles that come and go on the streets.
What I'm saying is... this looks like a modern world!
A modern world!? In my fantasy Isekai!?
I don't want the modern world! It's very boring, and depressing!
There are the fantasy elements. The magical energy is one. The other is that our neighbors are of different races. What I meant from race is that they are of a different species, not just ethnicity.
My only problem with that is... they are too different!
It's not a beautiful elf or a cute loli dwarf like what I'm expecting on a fantasy Isekai. No, it's a bunch of terrifying monsters that didn't have any humanoid features whatsoever!
Why do I have walking ants as neighbors!? Why is there a human-sized standing cockroach as my uncle!? How come stinky sentient sludges are my childhood friends!?
Didn't I reincarnate to another world? Whoever is responsible for my reincarnation, at least put me in a proper fantasy medieval Isekai!
Only my mother is beautiful. Literally everyone else is horrendous!
It's been a few years now, and while I am getting used to the presence of these monsters, I still want to complain about this. I can't really say it out loud though.
I learned that the place we are living on is called the W24 Residential Complex. My mother said this is the poorer part of Laurentia. Laurentia is the name of this city.
We are commoners, so we don't have surnames. Only people with noble status can get surnames it seems.
I still don't know a lot about this world. Despite the modern aesthetics of this world, I haven't seen anyone who owns an equivalent of a phone or a computer. They didn't even have a book or something that can give me a hint what kind of world this is.
All I know is that monsters lives amongst the people, and that humans are pretty rare if the only humans I have seen so far is my mother.
I don't even know who my father is. Only my mother takes care of me.
On the day I am able to walk, my mother immediately relied on our neighbors to take care of me as she goes to work. As to what kind of work she is doing... I have no idea!
I asked my mother about it, and she says it's miscellaneous work on the Institution, though she doesn't elaborate what kind. She says I will understand in the future.
Anyway, the ant family who usually takes care of me gave me a lot of freedom. They let their children play with me, along with the many monsters that lives on the apartment complex.
They actually have a proper name for each of their races, but I can't really focus that much when the one who is teaching me is a literal walking cockroach.
I don't know how can people actually live in a world like this! After managing to slipped away from my neighbors and acquaintances once more, I go to an empty spot on the nearby park, where I see other young creatures playing with their powers.
You see, I found out that I'm not actually unique when it comes to an Innate Ability. Literally anyone have it. It's inborn to every living beings to have an Innate Ability.
And I discovered that it's the only ability that we will have for the rest of our lives. We can't learn magic to ourselves. We can't make skills out of nowhere. It's nothing. Our power comes from our inborn ability.
So the only use for my MP is literally for my Pure Conversion.
Well, it might be useful. I have been experimenting with my Innate Ability since the day I can walk around.
Pure Conversion is an ability that enables me to create every basic materials with a single point of magic. As to what constitutes as basic, I still don't know. My power restricts me with a lot of things, and it doesn't tell me anything!
So I'll list the items that I have made with it so far.
I made a stone the size of an adult fist, a slice of meat, a branch, a ball of water, a leaf, a seed, and a grain of sand. I don't know if that's all I can create with my power. That's everything I know for now!
But it's not the only thing I learned from my power. I can only create those things with MP. There is something else my Pure Conversion can do. It's the ability to convert other objects into a better one.
For example, if I want to create a wooden sword, I need wood or ten pieces of wooden branches. Or if I want to create bronze, I need ten pieces of stone, or a mix of copper and tin.
It's like a merging skill, but it doesn't actually follow the concept of equivalent exchange. For example, I can turn silver into gold, so long as I have ten pieces of silver. The size or shape of the silver doesn't matter. It's the amount. The resulting product will be based on my imagination, and the average sized of everything I used to create the object.
Basically, I can make better things. And what's so great about that?
It doesn't cost an MP!
I can basically do trial and error with my Pure Conversion, and it won't use any of my MP. It's that broken!
And because I can create everything that I can think of, so long as I have the right materials for it, I think I can become the strongest if I keep up with this!
This world is pretty lax when it comes to the usage of Innate Ability. So long as they aren't causing a crime or killing someone, anyone can freely use their Innate Ability. It is why many young creatures littered this park and are using their different forms of Innate Abilities.
As for me, I take my items from my small backpack, and take out the things I have brought with me. These things are the stuff I have created since these past three years.
Well, it's not all of my stuff. Most of my precious stuff are hidden beneath my bed. No way I'm going to show diamonds on the open like an idiot!
What I brought are things I want to experiment today. I have a lot of silver shards, sticks, and other random objects that I have created. Most of them are moderately precious. Like this wood here is a premium one. Or that one is a flask with honey inside it.
First, I created a lot of grains of sand, and then converted them into glasses, which I further turned into flasks. After that, I made water inside these flasks, and then converted them into honey. I repeat the process until I have ten of them.
Next, I put all the herbal leaves I created besides the flasks of honey, and then started imagining a potion as I converted the products. After thinking that, I used my Pure Conversion, and watched as the herbal leaves vanishes and the honey within the flasks changes into a different color.
It's a glowing greenish hue. The dim light of the mysterious liquid shines mysteriously in my eyes.
The ten flasks of honey has turned into ten flask of potions.
That's right, I make potions!
I already know it's effectiveness. It can heal wounds. I know, because I tested it when I scraped my knees on the past. It work wonders on my wounds.
The only thing is, it only heals wounds. It can't cure sickness.
Good thing I made another type of potion, which I called as Antidote. Those can cure sicknesses!
I only discovered about this ingredient after a lot of experimentation. It's pretty hard, because my conversion fails when I use the wrong materials.
Well, it makes different items depending on the materials, but I still call them failures because it doesn't go the way I want it. My power is literally a process of trial and error.
If I did it right, great! But if it's not, it's back to the drawing board!
I started with the potions because I am having a shortage of it. I still have to train myself so I can take care of my status tests.
After that, I resumed with my experiments. My current goal is to create a legendary weapon. Something that is so overpowered I can easily defeat my foes with a single hit!
Being overpowered is the best!
There is another thing. I want to get past on my test to increase my status. It's been so long since I raise my status.
The ability to convert MP into basic materials, and the ability to convert everything into something better. Converting things into better one needs a sufficient amount of tributes before it can be done.
Unlike the Magic Status which only asks for intellectual questions, and Resistance Status which asks anything about mysticism or any occult stuff from my world, almost every status became different.
Instead of asking simple questions, these status gives me physical tests. For example, on Physical Status, I have to destroy a brick with my bare hands if I want to raise it. As for Vitality, it wants me to lift a heavy barbell.
I also lost all the benefits I get from the increase of my status when I'm having a test, so I can only display the strength of a literal four year old girl!
Basically, it became impossible for me to raise my status. I have to train for it if I want to raise it.
Really, what's with this world!?
Also, it's not just me who have to do it. Everyone actually have a status panel like me. They can also raise their status through a test within their mind.
Thankfully, they aren't that far behind me. I don't intend for them to get past me though. I have to get stronger!
This is supposed to be an Isekai experience. I have to be the strongest!
So I need potions. Because I discovered that body ache can be healed with potions, and I can still retain the gains I got from exercising.
I hate taking this amount of effort, but if it's to raise my status to the absurd limits, then so be it!
The status clearly displays the improvements in my body when I raise it. Just like now. This backpack is supposed to be pretty heavy for a petite young child like me, but I can easily carry it thanks to my Physical status.
I still don't know how much it strengthens me, but as the weight of this backpack felt so light in my shoulders, I will consider that it increases it greatly.
I want to raise my status, and at the same time create cheat weapons. I have to prepare for the future. This is a fantasy world, even with it's modern aesthetics. I'm sure there is an Adventurer's Guild here or something, right? "Oh right. Next year, you can choose what kind of Institution your going to join. I am so excited! I always want to get you to join our Slum Town Institution!"
My mother suddenly said as we are eating food.
"... What?" What the hell is an Institution!?
I kept hearing it from your mouth, Mother!
"Oh right. You didn't know. An Institution is a place where people gathers so they can train their Innate Abilities, and acquire many benefits. You can also join Ranked Matches to increase your rank, along with the rank of the Institution itself!" Mother casually explained.
Institution. Is it their version of Adventurer's Guild?
But wait, what the hell is a Ranked Match!?
Forget about that. There is something more important than that!
"Uh... next year I'm going to be five. Is it really fine to join a group like that?"
"Of course! Residents age five and above are allowed to join an Institution!" She explained. "Don't worry, all of our neighbors are members of Slum Town! You won't be lonely there!~"
Really!?
It sounds good for me, but I can't help but feel disturbed.
Five years old can join an Institution? And if I heard it right, people fight in there!
What the fuck is wrong with this world!?
This chapter gives an infodump just to give a glance as to how ridiculously different this world is compared to Rufa's dream Isekai world.
As for the MC. She is still trying to cope with her genre savviness. She dreams of becoming just like those protagonist on Isekai stories. Becoming overpowered and having an easy life with no struggles whatsoever.
I promised that she will have a character development. For now, most of her monologues will be pretty frustrating, or rude to the others.
I am five years old now. Today, I am eligible to choose an Institution that will help me further improved my usage of my ability.
Loathed as I am to do it, I decided to ask my neighbors about the Institution. Even if they are literal monsters, they are the only ones I can talk to. Every stranger I meet are all sentient slobs, walking insects, or even the typical small green skinned ugly creatures that is reminiscent to the depiction of goblins in my world.
It is a lot better to talk to those I know, than total strangers.
According to my "friends", if I understand this right, an Institution is the headquarters for a faction. They are legalized by the government, and is an important part of life on every people of this world, as this world is run by absolute power.
This world that I found myself in actually ranks every people that lives, no matter where you lived. So long as you are part of the society, you will be monitored and you will be ranked. Rank indicates the status of a person, and a higher rank means you will acquire more benefits on this World.
Yes, the World. Not the government, but the World itself.
Every place have their ranking system. An individual ranking system. City-based ranking systems. Institution-based ranking systems. And many more.
This world is literally run by this kind of hierarchy, everyone sees it as the absolute truth when it comes to progressing in life.
And many people are very weak. It's pretty rare to actually get a useful Innate Ability. Most of the time, people will be born with an Innate Ability that is incompatible with them. Just like the lesser ooze I am neighbors with who have the power to burn themselves. It's not good, because it is their race's weakness.
It is why they need the help of an Institution to rise in life. Everyone told me I have to join an Institution if I want to improve my life.
I tried to ask more about what they meant from the World rewarding them, and they said that it is the Grace who is monitoring us. The Grace is what they call on the Status Panel that appears in our vision. Whenever we rise in rank, any type of ranking at all, the Grace will give a prompt on us and manifest our rewards in this reality.
My mother said that she becomes incredibly lucky on a day when she got a reward one time. It's also the time she meets my now deceased father, and their relationship quickly bloomed into something passionate, resulting in my birth.
The rewards are random. It can be material gains, or something miraculous just like what happened to my mother.
If I'm going to my own knowledge about this, I say there is a god behind this Status Panel who is observing everyone of us.
Whoever you are, please give me more cheat abilities!
Anyway, I became five this yesterday. Today my mother brings me to the Slum Town Institution. Surprisingly it's close to our residence. We only need to walk for a few minutes before I see the large structure sticking out like a sore thumb on this place filled with houses and apartment complexes.
There is a fortress-like structure in front of us. The wall that surrounds it looks like something from a military compound. It's purely made of thick concrete.
The entrance is entirely open. In fact, I don't see a door on it. It's just an open entrance where many come and go as they pleased.
As expected, living in this area, many of the people that walks here are all monstrous in nature. There are those goblins, the walking insects, and even the sentient goos.
I can't see any humans, or something that's humanoid at least!
No, I don't count goblins as humanoid. They looked hideous!
I kept repeating this, but I am coming to hate this world. If not for my mother, I would have left my house and fend for myself. This is not my Isekai fantasy at all!
"Mother... Is this the Slum Town Institution?"
"Yes, Rufa. Aren't you excited?"
Excited? I feel frustrated!
"... Can I choose another Institution?"
I felt my Mother's grasp on my hand tighten. What is it!?
"Rufa, you don't want to be together with us?" Why are you looking at me with that grim expression!? Isn't it obvious why I don't want to?
It's literally filled with monsters. I can tolerate our neighbors, but this one is too much!
At least put me in an Institution full of humans!
"Err..."
Of course I can't say it to her face. My Mother is the only good person I see in this world. She's the one keeping me sane on this weird and ridiculous fantasy world.
I feel her tight hold on my hand relaxing.
"Right... I know your always shy to strangers. Shlob and Ectheb did say you prefer going somewhere by yourself instead of playing with their children."
Ugh... aren't those my cockroach uncle and neighbor stinky ooze?
Of course not. I'm only tolerating them because we are neighbors, and they are a very friendly bunch, but I still don't like them in general.
As I said, the stinky ooze is literally stinky. They smell horrible, that even if I try to ignore it, the rancid smell just pierces into my nostrils!
As for the cockroach family... isn't it very obvious?
I might be very harsh here, but I hate what I hate! No one can force me to like something that I hated in my past life!
"... Is there any humans in our Institution, at least?"
Mother gives me that wry smile.
"We don't have any humans in our Institution, but there is a family of forest elves amongst our group--"
"Okay, let's go!"
You should have said so!
Finally, after a long time enduring the presence of these monsters, I can finally meet someone decent!
If it's elves, they definitely have to be beautiful. With sharp ears, perfect body, nature loving, and any additional that makes them perfect... I can't wait! I take back what I said...
In front of me is a short old woman whose wrinkles overwhelmed the amount of dry white hair that she has. Her face looks like it's going to fall off her face, and that makes it more terrifying than looking at walking ants!
"This is Floria. Our resident elf taking care of our garden." My mother casually introduced to me.
"Oh my... is this one...?" Even her voice sounds like she is close to dying soon.
"Right. This is Rufa. My precious daughter!~"
"Amazing... we finally have another human on our ranks... that's good..."
Even with how croaky she sounds, the way she conveys that seems rather enthusiastic.
Also, human? Are humans rare in this world!?
Maybe it is like that. I haven't seen any humans other than my mother for these past five years.
"Oh... please don't expect so much. Rufa only have a production type ability like mine. She can't help with the heavy lifting..."
"But still... being long lived... I'm sure little Rufa... will rise to great heights..."
Long lived? What the hell is she talking about?
"I'm sure. My daughter is pretty smart even when she's still a single year old. She might be able to surpass a lot of test from her Grace!~"
Ahem... Actually, I already had, but I don't feel like saying it.
"That will be good. She might be able to bind with our great items too..."
Great items?
While feeling very curious, my mother talked for a bit at the elf before she drags me somewhere within this structure.
The place felt like a labyrinth as we walked on many hallways, passing through many doors until we arrived on a wide room where many creatures are located.
"Okay, I will be registering your name on our Institution. You should get to know people your age while your waiting for me." Without waiting for my response, she left me alone.
... What? You really going to leave me alone with these monsters!?
I can feel all of them gazing at me, or in the case of the clump of sentient goo, pointing their feelers in my direction.
"Wow, is that a human?"
"What, you didn't know? That's Mabel's daughter, Rufa!"
"Really? So she had come of age?"
"This is great! She is at the same generation as us!"
"With a human on our side, we will be very famous!"
Despite the young ant's mandibles clacking, or the cockroaches making noises that is supposed to be incomprehensible, I can understand them just fine. It's one of the aspects that I have been curious about, but anyone I asked of it can't answer me clearly other than their go-to response of "It's normal".
Anyway, all of them are already coming towards me. Seeing a bunch of monsters surrounding me is honestly terrifying.
I regret coming here... Even as I expect them to be friendly, their appearance and, on the ooze's case, their smell makes me incredibly reluctant to hang out with them. They tried to talk to me, which I simply deflected with awkward greetings and simple answers.
Because they are not going away despite trying to obviously push them away with my cold and uninterested answers, I decided to just ask them bluntly.
"I am curious... are humans long lived?"
The others looked at each other, before one of them, the ooze, raised it's filler on my face.
I tried to pull my face away. The smell makes me almost gag...
"You didn't know? Humans normally lived for a hundred years!" Okay, that's normal then. "If they pass the test of vitality on their Grace, it will double!"
"Ah... what?" Wait, what did he mean?
"Uh... haven't you tried to pass the trials of your Grace?" The young standing cockroach spoke, and I nod to him. "Have you tried passing the test of vitality on your Grace?" With another nod to him, he continues. "Then your lifespan will increase with that!"
Really... Vitality increases the lifespan!?
I tried to ask them more, and they said what they learned from their parents.
Vitality actually increases lifespan. They don't know how much, but there are many cases they have from their ancestors where they have lived longer than their lifespan due to increasing their Vitality.
For example, the Greamaise (the name of the species for these talking ants) lifespan is only ten years. Their oldest ancestor died at the age of 70, his recorded Vitality at that time being 7. Some of their grandparents have been living for more than ten years when they increase their Vitality, with one of them passing their 20th year after they managed to increase their Vitality to 3.
They said that humans easily can get to a thousand years if they raise their Vitality to ten. Which means, Vitality acts like a multiplier for our lifespan.
That's my hypothesis anyway after hearing their explanation.
I tried asking for more, and they said that humans easily contends against the angel, demon, and celestial races. While we don't have a Racial Perk, something I have to ask later, it seems like Humans are capable of learning pretty quickly compared to the other races.
And knowledge is power in this world, because most of the trials from our Grace are a test of our own knowledge.
It might be why books are unavailable to us. Because knowledge is power. The higher class might have a monopoly to it. It's another assumption on my part because I already asked about it to my mother and my neighbors, and they didn't know anything. They don't even know the concept of a book!
The ability to convert MP into basic materials, and the ability to convert everything into something better. Converting things into better one needs a sufficient amount of tributes before it can be done.
I look at my status and wonder. Am I stronger than the people of this world?
I asked about it, and it seems like having a four digit on a status is unheard of. At least in this place, they haven't heard about it.
It's not just knowledge they said. People also need the resources if they want to surpass the physical trials of their Grace. Something like the ones where they have to destroy bricks or carry a heavy object successfully.
If I think about it, our place is pretty poor. We don't have access to basic info, and the Institution seems like a Guild rather than a place for education, and everyone from my neighbors don't have any fancy things like a car or an accessory. Everyone of us simply have meals, and we always share all the time.
But... those creatures on my age easily manages to keep up with my strength. Does that mean they are stronger than a person?
I ask about it, and they said it is natural. Humans are pretty weak physically, while monsters are incredibly strong.
I see... so it is like that.
My neighbors and my mother didn't answer me clearly whenever I ask about it. So even if I am uncomfortable with the presence of these monsters, coming here is at least worth it with this info.
Thinking of the effects of Vitality, it should also be the case on the other Status, right?
If Vitality multiplies the lifespan based on it's value, then the other Status should also be so?
Like, my Physical Status is currently thirteen. That means my Physical Capabilities should be thirteen times than my base. That should be logical right?
It's all assumptions, but it is getting clearer to me. These people don't know how to properly calculate, but if it's me, applying what I know from my past world, it is easy to deduced that it should be the case for every points of status.
They are multipliers.
It is why, since I woke up in this world, all of them started as one. Everyone started at one, if I recall about the others that I asked about it.
They are one because it's our base. Multiplying everything by one won't really change anything. A noticeable change will occur if we increase our status.
Learning that, I became more determined to increase my status.
If all of these are actually multipliers, then that means I can become the strongest by diligently surpassing these tests!
I can do it. Then, when I am strong enough, I will find an ideal place where I can actually live my Isekai fantasy!
I have a very interesting idea around the world and the power system in it, but as I am writing the next chapter, I am feeling depressed as I write about the MC's monologue.
I am trying to challenge myself by making an unlikeable MC, and trying to write their character development as to how they will change and become a better person on it, while showing the world itself through her eyes, but her personality alone makes me very uncomfortable. It's making it painful to me to write about her.
It is now Christmas Eve, and writing something so depressing and uncomfortable makes me lose my motivation...
I shouldn't have done this story at all. Challenging myself like this is not even fun...
I'm sorry for wasting all your time... I'll try and find my motivation again next time...
It's alright. As I said on other stories, while I'm sad when you stop mid story, as long as you keep writing other things it'll be fine. Every time I see one of your stories I click watch because I know that I'll enjoy reading it even while knowing it will probably be dropped. Just keep the ideas coming, your writing style and ideas are fun to read.

Just keep the ideas coming, your writing style and ideas are fun to read.
Mmhm, sad, was looking forward to what you'd do with the world building , but I'll just look forward to more of your work instead, don't burn yourself writing something you don't like.
