A Naruto Mook Quest [The Gamer/Naruto]

Meditation improves the chakra pool by improving your spiritual energy. Do you know what acts as spiritual energy in this quest? INT and WIS, one gives more chakra and the other improves regen.
So is Meditation is a good way to grind those two stats, or nah? Because having a skill devoted to grinding stats would be really handy, especially since we have methods to accelerate the grinding of physical stats but don't yet have any for mental.

[X] Is that bullying?

By reaching level 100 with Leaf Sticking Exercise the skill Tree Climbing Exercise has been created!
Tree Climbing Exercise (Passive/Active) (Level 1) (Cost: 100 CP) [0/10]

A more advanced chakra control exercise, it by channeling chakra on the feet it allows to stick on vertical surfaces
Allows to stick to vertical surfaces or upside down
Concentration to use the skill lessened as skill level increases
0,25% CP discount to skills
Additional 100 CP cost per minute
Could we train that by sticking to the floor? I'm sure it would be at a lesser degree, but the basics are more or less the same.

Noooo, I know what I wrote.

An example of mediatative action is the gathering of nature chakra, because he fucking MEDITATE while doing it.

No matter how much you cry and whine, punching a log a thousand times isn't a default meditative action.

Now matter how much you cry and whine, punching a log a thousand times isn't a default meditative action.
We have long since dropped the 'trying to do other things while meditating' angle. We are now inquiring explicitly towards exactly what Meditation is suppose to do in (naruto) canon, grind mental stats. Does it do that?

Because if it doesn't then the only other meditative action we can think of is Sage Mode, and that's probably a year or two off.

... Wait did Shino's relationship level dropped to a 50 to a 42 or was always like that?

Okay no physical activity. that's understandable and makes sense

But...
Chakra Inner Flow (Passive/Active) (Cost: 100 CP) (Level 1) [0/10]
By steadily channeling chakra, both your body and mind become enhanced and better than before.

How is this not something we can do while meditating? it's just Channeling chakra. and it's far less intensive as sage mode training.

That's a fucking broad definition of meditation that only benefits yourselves. If that's the case I can very well retgone the skill and be done with it.
I'm not going to argue with you about what counts as meditation as far as mechanics are concerned, because you've made your position abundantly clear about that, but generally just monofocusing on anything could count as meditation. It's a really broad definition because it's a really broad term.

But, again, you've made clear what doesn't count as meditating, and it's your quest.

Well, we haven't actually put any effort into interacting with him other than the team exercise, so that makes sense. If we really want to become friends with him, we have to do more than just one thing.

On an answer that isn't me trying to kill people over the internet:

If you were a normal person without The Gamer CIF isn't a naturally meditative action because you are actively splitting your attention between multiple things, namely channeling chakra and fighting. If you went out of the way and tried to use CIF while meditating you would be technically be training CIF itself instead of properly doing a meditation.

As a Gamer CIF is a toggle skill that you turn on/off without effort in maintaining it, the same way that you normally doesn't pay attention to the way you walk or breath. Sitting down calmly to try and train CIF would simply train CIF normally.

The closest to a meditative action you have right now is Leaf Sticking Exercise since the default method to train it is to focus on the leaf on your forehead and make it stick, and then when you get better you can try and split your attention into other things.

Updated affection list.

Shino started with affection level 40 and went to 42 after the quest.

Naruto is neutral-friendly. He HOPES you are his friend, but until that fear of you suddenly abandoning him goes away he technically counts as neutral.

Ah okay now I get it thank you for explanling it. I misunderstood the inner flow skill.

Because meditation is not a super defined thing. There are all kinds of meditation methods, usually as long as it involves repeating a certain thing over and over
Just going to point this out: that's not what meditation is, at all. The word has been generalized a lot in recent years, but even its most liberal interpretations aren't "repetitive actions." It's generally about concentration. And even then, the modern western use of the word is a corruption of what it actually refers to. Meditation is a specific thing, a moderately difficult skill with associated techniques. Or rather, several interrelated skills. Sitting down and repeatedly doing math problems is both repetitive and involves monofocus but has essentially nothing in common with jhana or nana meditation, or Orthodox Jesus Prayer, and it would thus make absolutely no sense to classify under the same in-game Skill.

Something to keep in mind. We are sitting in desks in class so we could stick the bottom of the desk to our thighs and basically sit while training it all throughout class. Yay for chakra control training~!

And that is already maxed out. Tree Walking and the presumable next level Water Walking are both things requiring movement, and as such not really a option. There might be other chakra exercises we could try looking into, that involve focusing singularly on something.

How do people work on their Nature Transformation? That might be something that is considered meditative.

It's also strenght and endurance training, sit straight supported by the top of you tights!*

*Chances of book thrown at face by QM.

@Trondason Nature Chakra is like ninja uranium, you don't casually fuck with it.

@edit: If you meant elemental shenanigans, don't know, they just sorta do it? Probably some underlying way in every jutsu.
