She had lived her second life for quite some time, and had done many things. She had traveled and seen so much that she never would have in her first life.

She was not expecting to be dragged back to that life, with all the power that she had gained in her second.

She just hopes that she can have as much fun as Izumi Midoriya as she did in her second life.
Chapter 1: Under a bridge once again
Location
Around
The changes that happened around her was one of the most interesting things that she has had in quite some time.

Perhaps an attack? It would be foolish to use [Darkness Magic] against her, and anyone who has come this far should know that.

It was at that moment that [Clairvoyance] gave out.

That's not good, she could count on her hand the number of people that should be able to shut down her [Clairvoyance], and none of them should-

Why can't she move?

She may have left blind spots in her vision to give people a fighting chance, but nothing should be able to bind her without her seeing it coming.

But she can't... feel anything...

She was suddenly struck with a familiar feeling.

No, there is no way that after all this time she would--

Someones slapping her cheeks.

"Hey! Wake up!"

That... no, after all this time?

Her eyes snap open, and looming over her is a large man with a bright smile.

"Hey--"

Oh hell, it's good that she had [Thought Acceleration], otherwise she may have reacted badly to someone looming over her like that.

She his hand pull back, his smile still shining at her.

"Thought we lost you there."

Her instincts demand that she move, she's not use to someone looming over her like that. If she had less control she would probably have shoved him away, as it is she simply scurrys away.

Right..

All Might.

That means..

She's back on Earth.

By the Void she's back on earth.

"Well, looks like you're moving around all right." All Might's voice booms, and even after all this time she has to admit he does have a great voice. She takes a moment to get a few breaths in, as the man stands back up.

It's been a long time since she was on Earth, and for the life of her she doesn't remember what exactly happened. She remembers that she had died, or she thought she died, and then she had been reborn into that she's spent most of her life on. Really, she has spent the vast majority of her life not on earth, so it's a little jarring to be back so suddenly.

Focus, what was I doing before this moment?

"Sorry about that back there." All Might says, "I didn't mean to get you caught up in my justicing. Usually I pay more attention to keeping bystanders safe, but it turns out this city's sewer system is pretty difficult to navigate."

She smirks as he laughs, because, yeah she can imagine that. Her pride wouldn't let her admit how many times she's gotten lost in sewers, but anyone who's been in a sewer knows how damn hard they are to navigate.

Justicing.

A quarter of a memory slips into her mind, some thing attacking her that was wanting to use her to run from something. Likely All Might himself, so it was probably a villain?

"Anyways you were a big help. Thank you! I've captured the evil-doer!" He declares, raising up to bottles of -soda? Yeah soda, she's going to have to drag very old memories out now - and inside of the bottles was-

Right! She was being drowned by some person that had a Skill- No they are called Quirks here need to remember that - that made them have a body of sludge or something. They said they were going to turn her into a skin suit to escape.

She had thought that the villain had killed her, that's how she got reincarnated.

Then why is she back? Did she get revived or something?

Can sort that out later, need to act appropriately amazed by the top heroes presence.

"I've got to get an autograph." She says as she starts to pat herself down. Actually it would be nice to know what she has on her.

Oh, she thinks when her hand touches her waist. I'm not wearing my clothes.

No, that's inaccurate. These are her clothes, just not the clothes she was wearing a few minutes ago.

"Ah!" She says, her eyes laying on a burnt notebook laying on the ground.

She reached down and snatched up Hero Analysis for the Future, No.13. It was the notebook that she had been using when she had died. It's so strange to see it again, but even after all this time she never forgot the notebooks.

She's pored to much of herself in all of them over the years, even if few of them are for that same goal anymore. These books were a part of her that never went away.

Even if she doesn't clearly remember what was inside.

She opened the book to a page, and she had to admit, the man had a great autograph.

"You already did!" She says with a smile, and while she may be exaggerating it a bit there was some genuineness to the smile. That old 14 year old girl that idolized him still having a small grip on her heart.

She looked up to see the man giving her a thumbs up and his trademark smile, the bottles nested snugly into his pants pockets.

"Welp. I've gotta get this guy to the police so they can take care of him." He says as he turns away, giving a one handed wave. "Stay out of trouble. See you around!"

Okay, he's leaving. Even if her little experiance with him makes him seem to be a good example of a hero, and she's seen a lot of heroes that don't live up to there hype, she will not be sad to see him go. Really needs to sort out what is going on and that will be easier once she is alone.

The man takes a moment to get ready, before declaring "Now stand back, I'm taking off!"

The wind from force of his jump flung the pink petals that had been around, and from high above she could here him yell out, "Thanks for your continued support!"

She gave him a wave, before letting the smile fall from her face.

Right, now to start sorting through her thoughts and assess the situation.

First, she turns on [Clairvoyance]. It's nice to all round vision again...

Why is [Clairvoyance] working?

The thought caused her to freeze.

Skills, all Skills, connect into the [World System], the overarching system that governs the world that she's lived in for almost her entire second life. All abilities require the [World System] to run, but Earth shouldn't have the [World System], if it did then people would have access to Skills, Classes, or Levels.

So by all rights she should be cut off from-

Cut off.

With a simple thought she summoned up her Stats Menu.

Okay, it should be somewhere...

There!

[Internal System] Lvl 1

Grants the user of the skill a self sufficient system that can be used in place of the [World System] when severed from the [World System]. While [Internal System] is running supported systems gain experience at a rate of 0%.

Honestly she had forgotten about [Internal System], she got it a long time ago to counter [System Shut-Down Magic]. She had long since forgotten about it, since very few people try to use such magics against her anymore.

Apparently it will allow her to bring her powers back to Earth.

Interesting.

She reaches out with a hand and starts to cast a Spacial Warp spell to her la-

Ping!

She recoiled at the feeling.

"Fuck."

Realm Barriers.

She's can't go back, not with extreme magics, and even for someone on her level she would need someone of an equal level to be able to breach the Realm Barriers. Unfortunately she only knows of one other person that could help her with a task like this. That person is on the other side, and hates her.

She also hates him, so whatever.

Honestly she just would like her stuff back, she's not had anything to do for a long time, so being back on Earth isn't an unpleasant change, far from it. It gives her something new to do.

Okay, so if that's off the board she she figure out what she has on her.

Patting herself down again, she turned through her pockets. Nothing of real note other then this card, which is..

Oh, her school ID.

Name: Izumi Midoriya

Bellow the name was the ID number, and above it was a picture. It looked a lot like her, though some details are different between her two faces.

Izumi Midoriya.

Right, that's her name.

Strange thing to think, but she had gotten so use to her new name that she had forgotten about this one.

Putting the ID back into her pocket, she flipped the backpack off of her back and started to look through it. Looks like it's just a number of textbooks, she'll have to review them. A smile forms on her face as her mind starts to settle on an objective.

UA High School.

She will need to make preparations, review the average strength level of the heroes in the world, and appropriately limit herself so she doesn't rouse to much suspicion or hurt people. Shes well versed in [Binding Magic], so it shouldn't be to difficult to once she has a plan.

Putting her pack back on, she started to flick through Hero Analysis for the Future, No.13.

It would be nice to get to be a hero this time around.

... she is a retired demon lord, isn't she? Why, she just might teach All For One a thing or two. Before killing him, of course.

Very interesting. We will be following your story with great interest.

Chapter 2: First Time Home in a Long Time
An Alleyway Close to the Midoriya Home

The book was helpful, but not as helpful as she would have liked.

She was younger when she made it, and wasn't able to get the kind of details that she can get now from some of her Skills. [Appraisal] did wonders for the ability to accurately learn what someone was capable of.

In fact [Appraisal] was showing it's use at the moment. Izumi -she's going to have to get use to that again- was currently using it on people that were wandering by the alley that she was currently sitting in. With it she was pulling up the state average of dozens of civilians, which when collected together would allow for her to determine a good level to bind herself at.

Once she has an average she could introduce her "Quirk" to her mother from this life. She's been dusting off old memories and from what she has managed to recall, her mother was a very caring women who worried quite a bit. Izumi figures that the least she could do was not overly worry her mother by informing her that she had died and been reborn in another world, only to somehow get dragged back to this world. She doesn't think that would go over well with this mother.

Her other mother wouldn't have cared in the least, being a barely sapient monster.

[Clairvoyance] was useful for many things, but the thing that she was most happy about was how she could use it in place of a mirror. It did a lot to make her more comfortable to know that since she's returned to this world some of her physical traits have been returning to her. Like the fact that her eyes have changed over, something that she would have been rather annoyed to loose. Her eyes are a dark red with white pupils, in the center of the iris is a white circle that has four dots circling it in a way to make it look like a tilted cross-hair. It wasn't obvious to most people, but each of the white dots were in fact different eyes. Her teeth had been slowly returning to the sharpened fangs of her other life.

The reason for these changes were obvious to her, she only had to look at her Stats to see that she's thankfully still not human. She has nothing against humans as a species, but she's spent longer as a spider monster then she has as a human, and she really doesn't want to have that striped from her.

She still looks the same in the face, which honestly isn't all that surprising considering she kept her face between her two different lives. At least she did when she managed to stop being a standard spider monster and moved up into the more humanoid spiders.

Her current bodies hair is still a curly green mess though, she'll figure out what to do with it later, for now she should get back to making preparations for her bindings. The last thing she wants to do here is overpower things to much.

That would be rather boring.

She watched as light purple magical circles appeared underneath her, before shrinking down and binding themselves around her wrists. She felt as a large number of her Skills where locked away from her access, which just felt odd. She could still feel that they existed, but is she tried to activate them to automate a process for her they wouldn't trigger at all.

The particular bindings that she used were much more modular then most, which allows her to shift how much is bound without have to recast the spell, which will be very useful after she binds her Magic Skills.

With the Skills bound, the next thing to bind will be her Stats. Most humans she's seen have around fifty in their core stats, so that felt to be a reasonable place to put them. She watched as more pairs of rings joined the ones that she had created for most of her Skills.

It took only a few more moments to place the rest of her bindings, and then with a thought she shifted them to being hidden from the rest of the world. With them set, they should only be visible to people when she is altering her bindings, something she doesn't think she will do much in front of people.

After a glance at her Stats Menu, she was satisfied to see that the bindings worked in a way to prevent them from being seen on the screen. While she didn't plan to keep them bound forever, especially like this, she had learned early on in her other life that other people were able to see menus when she brought them up. Just showing her mother her menu would be the simplest way to prove that she has a Quirk to her and a doctor, as she remembers that Quirks need to be registered.

That is all assuming that they were visible in this world like they were in the other one.

With the last action of blocking out her titles with Ruler Privileges, she had her Stats Menu set up exactly how she wanted it. Now all that was left was to show her mother what she has gained.

Inko would admit that she had been starting to get worried. It wasn't an unfamiliar feeling, but things have been difficult for the past few years. There are a number of things that she could point to, but at the moment it's a rather simple thing.

Izumi wasn't home yet.

Most parents probably wouldn't be that worried about something like that right now. Her daughter could be hanging out with friends, or at the arcade, or out shopping.

But with Izumi it normally meant she was out chasing hero fights.

She trusts her daughter to not do anything stupid, but her daughter has more heart then sense in most cases. She's worried that one day that girl will run head first into a fight without thinking about and do something like throw a bag at a villain. The absolute worst case scenario would be Izumi being the victim of the attack.

Inko's not sure what she would do if Izumi died at the hands of a villain.

She let out her breath when she heard the front door opening.

"Mom! I'm home! You'll never guess what happened today!"

Inko smiled at her daughters voice, happy that she's home. Either she got distracted by something or whatever fight she was chasing was a short one. One way or the other, her daughter sounds far to cheerful for her to be... injured.

She wishes that Aldera was a better school, but there isn't much she can actually do about it at this point. She knows that her daughter hasn't been having a good time in the place, it doesn't treat people who are quirkless all that well. She has her own suspicions about what exacly is going on, but until her daughter either tells her about it or she can get her hands on proof nothing can be done.

Closing her work laptop, Inko stood up to greet Izumi, who she could here walking through the halls at a hurried pace.

The words died in Inko's throat when she saw her daughter turn the corner, her own eyes going wide in surprise at the sight. In front of her was Izumi, but instead of her emerald green eyes and bright smile, an unfamiliar pair of striking red eyes and sharp teethed smile so unfamiliar on her child's face that was a touch paler then normal.

"My Quirk finally manifested!"

Her Quirk?

Oh, oh that would explain it.

Everything went blurry, tears starting to blind her. With a few steps she was holding her daughter, trying tears of joy that Izumi finally, finally, had a quirk to call her own.

"I'm so glad!" Inko cried out as she latched onto her daughter.

Inko held onto her daughter for several minutes, letting out the worry that she had been building throughout the day.

"My Quirk is more then just my looks mom." Inko watched as she saw her daughter reach out a hand, making sure it was inside of Inko vision. "Look!"

As she said that, the areas in front of her daughters hand lights up, and Inko has to blink away the tears in her eyes to get a solid view of what she's looking at. She then blinks a few more times as she lets go of her daughter to see the text that is just... floating there.

Arachne
Lvl 3
Izumi Midoria

HP: 50
MP: 50
SP: 50

Attack: 10
Defense: 15
Magic: 10
Speed: 20

Skills: [Appraisal] Lvl 5, [Spider Thread] Lvl 3, [Poison Attack] Lvl 1, [Thought Acceleration] Lvl 6, [Night Vision] Lvl 3, [Internal System] Lvl 1

"It looks like a video game character."

That... was an odd Quirk for Izumi to develop.

Very odd in fact. Most quirks are some kind of mixture between the parents quirks, with it on rare occasions being the Quirk of a single parent. This isn't either telekinesis, fire breathing, or some mixture of the two in some way.

Which means this is a complete mutation, which is possible, but insanely rare.

"It does! Something like this has so many possibilities!"

At least she's happy with it...

"What does Arachne mean? And is Thought Acceleration what it sounds like?" Inko asked.

"Well Arachne seems to be my... species I guess? I was testing out [Appraisal]" -that sounded very very weird when she said it. It was very hard to describe. - "earlier and I noticed that other people are listed as being Human. It's probably why my looks changed." Izumi stopped and tapped the side of her head, "[Thought Acceleration] is exactly what it wounds like. I can think and perceive things faster then before, kind of like how in the movies everything will slow down in a fight or stressful moment."

Inko took a few moments to take that all in, and waved her daughter into the living room while she thought. The fact that Izumi was thinking faster would probably explain why she's not as visibly panicking as much as she would expect from suddenly changing like this. Having more time to think about it, as well as just being happy to have a Quirk, even a mutation one, would be enough to help her Izumi move past the changes rather fast.

"Why did you change species? If that's what happened."

Izumi shrugged as they sat down.

"No idea, you would think that staying normal human would make the most since, but for some reason I'm an Arachne. I did some poking around at my sheet, and it seems that it means I'm some kind of spider? It would explain that Skills I started with, [Spider Thread], [Poison Attack], and [Night Vision]. From what I've been able to look I think [Internal System] is my actual Quirk, as it describes itself as being the backbone of what all my skills run off of."

It still sounded really weird when she said the skill names, but it she thinks she's getting a little use to it.

"Anyways! [Spider Thread] looks like it could be super useful, and when looking through some of my menus I saw another skill called [Thread Control]! If I get that I could see all kinds of ways I could use it for working as a hero, like..." Izumi continued to talk about all the idea that came to her head, and Inko just smiled as she watched her daughters excitement.

Even if some of this is a little weird, she's happy to see her daughter chatter away like she is. This has been rather sudden and unexpected - really her daughter was years past the expected rate for even late bloomers - but she's sure things will be okay.

In fact with her daughter finally having a Quirk, maybe the girl will not be picked on as much at school. As far as she can see things are for the first time in quite some time, looking up.

Several Months Later
March 18th
UA High

UA High.

The school is recognized to have the best hero training course in the entire world, so naturally everyone wants to go here. There may be other programs out there, but they don't hold a candle to UA's, which is why it's almost impossible to get in.

The school's alumni list is filled to the brim with idols that have inspired swaths of people. As widely recognized as All Might, Endeavor, and Best Jeanist, to more underground people such as Eraser Head.

The past several months have been boring, the only things of note were a few changes to her body as it shifted closer to her Arachne body. Her skin was a few shades paler then before, and along her fingers in place of nails were sets of bone white claws. Those were the only changes that could be noticed at a glance, and while they had been momentary interesting, nothing will match up to how this will be.

It's time for the entrance exam.

This second chapter doesn't show up in reader mode. It just registered as another comment.

Ah yes, Boku No Kumo Desu Ga. Lol.

This is an interesting take on the whole rpg elements though. Having Izumi basically doing a challenge run of this world, where she essentially has all her skills already, and is just sandbagging, rather than a lot of litrpgs that focus on level grinding. Curious to see how this handles things going forward; hoping it continues to play to that challenge run vibe where she's actually got some struggles rather than just smashing her way through canon.

Shiraori Izuku?

Do you skip Aldera to set plot point for later chapter or something?

Some of the plotline in it could be 'solved' before UA exam.

I mean it was kind of established that she was a villain, so it is weird when there were no changes at all in the timeline. Would she really restrain herself when there were assholes in her path?

I don't mean especially that Sweaty hands dud, but the asshole Aldera homeroom teacher.

That shitstain was not fit to be teaching kids, what with his blatant baiting and being permissive toward bullying.

He's the kind of bastard I would wish having terrible fate of teaching pre-canon GTO class. Those kids were savages before being fixed by Onizuka.

Compared to the OTL female teacher, he'd be the one to deserve life ruination scheme more.
