Rabbit Faced

You were a Mother.

And you've lived a satisfying life. There were many hardships but that's just how it goes, right? You fell in love with a man whom you've decided to spend your life with during your college days. The two of you promising under the Moon's gaze of being together forever like any couple would do. He promised you a future as he led you away from the church on your wedding day.

You were blessed with three adorable and wonderful children. The Eldest being your only son, a clever boy that grew into a reliable young man that you could be proud of. The Middle One whom was also your daughter. A bright and cheerful girl that bloomed into a strong willed young lady surrounded by many friends that could bring a smile to her face.

And finally, there was the Youngest... A little girl you brought into the world eight years ago. Your little darling that you always held close every chance you got. She had your husband's eyes, a face almost identical to yours and a lush brown mane that you found very pretty... You could already tell from the first time you met her to how she was now that she was going to be a beautiful young woman in the future.

You were blessed with a happy family, one you'd do anything to protect. Of course, that was what any mother would say. To keep the family together, to keep everyone safe...

==========================================

"Are you sure you're all right? You sure you don't want any bathroom breaks?" chuckled your husband as the lush green forest raced by your window. You narrowed your eyes and puffed your cheeks before punching him on the shoulder.

"I told you for the seventeenth time, I'm fine!" you fumed. Seriously, didn't the stupid oaf have anything to do while driving? Honestly, the two of you were bored out of your minds but it didn't mean that he needed to get under your skin ever ten minutes.

Following your outburst and your husband's snickering, a little girl's voice came from behind your seat as you had a pair of small, warm arms embrace you from behind, "Moooom, you need to be more honest. If you're cranky, just tell us. Stop yelling at Dad."

"You two, if we stopped now those two idiots will probably cause property damage the longer they're together," you huffed as you held your daughter's wrist in your palm. Hm, she wasn't cold... Good.

"They stayed in the same room for twelve years, they can handle being together for four hours after six months of not seeing each other," said your husband as your little mini-van entered a forest.

"I can't wait to see Big Brother and Big Sister! They'll be surprised! I grew bigger than last time!" chirped your daughter as she bounced in the backseat.

"Cera! You behave yourself young lady! That's dangerous! No jumping in the car!" you snapped and the little girl only giggled at your scolding.

Her father then replied in a patient tone, "Your mother's right, dear. No jumping or else we're not strapping your siblings with you in the Ferris Wheel."

"I don't wanna ride the Ferries Wheel! Let me ride the World Shaker! I wanna ride the World Shaker!" yipped the little girl in her seat like an excited bundle of energy that never seemed to run out of fuel. You went a little bit green at the mention of the damnable ride you managed to ride once in your thirty seventh year of living in existence.

"No, you won't mee the height requirement," you immediately denied.

"Mom, you can come with me! I can tell them you're my mom!" argued Cera as she peeked from the side of your seat and stared at you with her big green eyes.

You tensed before clicking your tongue, "Tch."

Your husband, the smartass he was, decided it was the great time to comment, "Well dear, even if you told the staff that, I don't think your mother would meet the height requirement-"

"Blame my genes, you idiot!" you squawked.

"Mom, I don't want to be as short as you..."

"Even my own daughter's disappointed! Cera, honey, don't look at me like that!"

"Don't worry, darling. We like you all the same. Besides, I bet those two would agree with me when I say you're cute when you're angry."

"I'm not cute!"

"Mom, act your age."

"Sit properly!"

Soon, you could see the city-wide amusement park in the horizon as two of your most precious people in the world poked fun at you just to see your reaction. At the very least your son had the decency to not take advantage of this quirk of yours...

You can't wait to see those two idiots again...
==================================================

"Yeah, yeah, I got it. Your mother will be going to see you... What do you mean you... Goddammit, you idiot, try not to provoke her will you? It's her- Oh geez... You two better be behaving or else you're in it this time! Got it? Good. Now stay there, your little sister's been wanting to see you. I'll be fixing up the car and will catch up with them. Keep your mother company then. Sure... Bye."

Shutting off his phone, your husband then gave you a helpless look as he said, "Well, they're still alive and kicking so that's something. Why don'y you go on ahead and take Cera with you now? Kid's ready to roll."

You turned around to see your daughter of eight years prancing and dancing around in excitement as she circled before the entrance of the Amusement Park. You blinked and looked as the entrance was complimented with the background of a clear blue sky.

"Bellscape Wonderland, huh?" you murmured quietly. Smirking, you turned to the man fixing your car and said, "You really weren't kidding when you said you'd make a tradition of going here after a major event."

"The boy just got into that presitgious university, right? So this calls for some celebration," replied your husband before he poked her head out with a grin, "Besides, I was thinking I'd take you out on a date."

"Ditching your youngest to your other kids to have me all for yourself? Sly," you began walking ahead.

"I took off an entire week off for this, cut me some slack and let me be selfish for once!" he hollered as you followed Cera towards the entrance. Well, you were in the mood for a date later on. And the two idiots wouldn't complain spending some time with their cute little sister.

You caught up with Cera as she peered at the mascot towering above her. Instead of being scared, the girl simply smiled at the mascot before she turned around to face you.

"Mom! It's Hatter! Hello Hatter!" she cheered as she pointed at the mascot.

"Yes dear. He's a pretty fine gentleman, hm?" you mused as you ruffled her hair. You pulled her along to pay for your entrance fee before getting into a line with a few more people before you walked with the crowd into the amusement park.

Keeping your daughter close, you were the ngreeted with the distant crimson winding rail tracks of the rollercoaster as a cluster of balloons floated into the air. Streamers were shot into the air as performers marched the streets in a grand parade of floats and music. The mascots and performers of Bellscape Wonderland greeted their new arrivals with song and smiles.

Cera became ecstatic at the sight of the giant floats and eye-catching performances on the street. It was like Didney Wurl but better...

Hah...

"Mom! They're going to get away! Let's go! We need to go now!" chirped your daughter as she tried to pull you along.

"Geez, hold on! I'm getting too old for running!" you cried out in protest.

"Mooooom!"

You smiled. This girl... As small as she was, you really can't win against her... But it's not like you can't try...

Family Day
[] "Fine, just for a bit. Okay? Come on, we can still catch up."
[] "Why don't we wait for your dad? The oaf has the habit of getting lost after all."
[] "We promised your brother and sister that we'll meet them. Don't you want to see them now?"

Rabbit writing fluff? Impossible. This will end in despair soon enough.
