Not like she's gonna help us willingly anymore.

Onwards towards venture! Or however that saying goes. Onwards and upwards!

We could take Vista with us as well, right?

There is also the option of making sure, or trying to make sure that clock survives.
[x] Nope! Immediately close the portal and recall everyone from Brockton bay before closing that Oblivion Gate as well.

Any chance of him surviving if we use the portal. Cause hmm. What odds would he give for both cases? For clock to come out alright. Or alright enough to get him back running. And by running i mean not as a living impaired individual, putting it politely.
I'm assuming.. assuming that the portal is as stable as Cyndric can make it.

After all, we should not do a Louise. If clock can be restored to functionality. This experiment can be reproduced with disposable subjects which will not compromise diplomatic relations with the local law enforcement.

Well then, this is now way more interesting than my vote! For more !Science!

Besides realistically we need to get rid of Vista somehow before she reports back, and throwing her in there not only get us more data without risking Cynric, but also see just how a parahuman with space-bending capability can survive in another pocket dimension. Can she use her powers to understand and adapt to the alien geometries before maximum SAN-loss?! Vote for it to find out on the next update of the Awesome Adventures with Cynric!

Well, she's kind of incapable of doing anything other than continually have her shard try to wipe the memory of the other shard at the moment, but maybe when it gives up.

Are you asking if you can restore Clockblocker via the shard? Because his head kind of got sucked through a bendy straw and then asploded... though shards do have a copy of the host's personality and memories, but good luck accessing those. You could spend time and resources doing to him what you did to Kiba, but for what gain?

You know, I'd probably be more broken up about this if it weren't for the fact that this entire quest basically consists of doing horrifically monstrous things to people who don't deserve it. Well, they usually don't deserve it. I mean, I'm sure there are a few that do deserve to get killed by our shenanigans, but that's almost always competently unintended collateral damage rather than the intended goal. We ruin entire worlds. Statistically speaking, we have to have gotten a few who had it coming.

Anyway...

Gotta get rid of any hostile witnesses. After that we can get the fuck out of here.

Wow why did you guys vote to kill the ward instead of the sociopath villain that we could have then reanimated afterwords...
Which is especially funny to me because someone was arguing above to not kill Alec but instead experiment on the wards, to not show Hinata us killing someone... Well oops on that I guess...

The important part is the 'oops'. Accidentally killing children is far different more acceptable than intentionally doing so!

Though given how this all shook out, I am feeling quite foolish, yes. We really need to get our mitts on some reliable resurrection spells.

I feel as though I shall come to regret this as well, and really should be voting to just nope our way out of Worm, but:

[X] May as well try to make the boy's unwitting sacrifice meaningful.
-[X] Take Louise through and investigate on your own.

Well like I said at the end of my post I don't think the GM would give us a standard vote option that would end the quest... I mean if it was a write I could understand that happening, but in this case I at least think Cynric and Louise will survive...

Heck if the portal opened too much that it could endanger the world, either the contess or Zion would probably be forced to come fix it...

What I want to know most now is if Cynric knows of anything in existence that could match what was in the portal. Are there any options that result in Cynric immediately using scrying/information gathering spells on this mystery? That seems more likely to produce results than using sensors.

Eh.

Can we summon a Dennis from the Spider Vicky's Wormverse, brainwash him into thinking he is the original, and pretend nothing happened?

Hermaus Mora comes pretty close in the whole 'my eyes are struggling to comprehend' aspect. If you go through the portal, he's going to do what he can to find out what's going on, be it through stick poking or mysticism.

Sure, but you might want to keep him unconscious until you learn some memory charms from Harry Potter... Which would almost assuredly take longer than you have until Leviathan shows up.

Arent there any mind control and memory spells from his original world? Also, the world where we've been poaching phoenixes, hah?

Magic to charm others, control their emotions, bind them into servitude, or trap them in a false reality all exist, but that wouldn't help make sure this CB acted like the one you just portal fragged. Generally the spells shown in TES that effect memory are flukes or ones that somebody made and took to the grave.

The votes are tied and even the ones with additional steps keep it tied.

That just means you get to decide with what option to run with, doesn't it?
