Probably have to sacrifice Geil to him as well, and might be better to go "Ask for forgiveness rather than permission". After all, if an evil Vampire with a god-complex offered to resurrect your family, wouldn't one be highly suspicious?

Still, it is pretty clear DIO is only putting up with him for his Stand / his usefulness. His standards might have ceded to his pragmatism for now, but keeping Geil in line is certainly gonna be a problem.

... I don't think so. There is not a whole lot DIO can do here, not in the split-seconds he has to react. I mean, he could flex his veins at the guy, but that is still draining on the precious little BP he has left.

Nevertheless, I would still like to hear your suggestion.

- is it necesary to stop time to make the shot? If so, could not Dio use this last Timestop charge to pry Maria from the vampire, release Timestop and then pump the other guy full of metaphorical lead?
