Interlude 1: Blood Sun Dawn: Part 1
1938!

THE YEAR THAT THE SECOND WORLD WAR BEGAN TO ENGULF THE PLANET.

THE GERMAN ARMY SOUGHT TO CONQUER ALL! THEIR WEAPONS WERE CUTTING EDGE!

THEY USED ASTROLOGY, SORCERY, ALCHEMY AND PSYCHIC POWERS!

EVERY TOOL WAS EMPLOYED IN THEIR BID FOR WORLD DOMINATION!

IN THE AFTERMATH OF THE PILLAR MAN SANTANA'S ESCAPE ATTEMPT MAJOR RUDOL VON STROHEIM, THE HEAD OF THE MILLENNIUM ORGANIZATION'S MEXICO BRANCH, WAS SEVERELY WOUNDED.

HE WAS NEAR DEATH, BUT STROHEIM'S ESTEEMED COLLEAGUE, THE DOKTOR, SAVED HIM USING THE POWER OF GERMAN ENGINEERING! STROHEIM WAS NOW MORE MACHINE THAN MAN!

Stroheim flexed his mechanical hand and smirked. He wasn't sure that there would be anything left of himself but bloody paste after he blew Santana to smithereens using a grenade, but Avondale, that creepy bastard, had somehow found enough to put him back together. The door creaked open, and a man in a long, white trench coat stepped inside Stroheim's hospital room.

Speak of the devil.

Avondale's glasses glinted in the early morning sunlight and a smile was stretched out on his face, revealing Avondale's yellowing teeth. Stroheim grimaced to himself. The man didn't care about German values, all he wanted to do was perform mad science. Stroheim personally wasn't bothered by the man, but the soldiers of Millenniu1 m-Mexiko found him either to be a tad unsettling or outright stated their dislike. Ah, rivalry between sibling agencies are always fun to watch.

"How are we today, Stroheim? Adjusting well to your cybernetics?"

"I can feel what bones I have left grating against the steel implants. German Science may be the greatest, but your science could use a bit of improving." Avondale's smile drooped a little, the blow to his ego dealing damage.

"I could improve upon my findings if Millennium-Mexiko was more brotherly and shared their research with Millennium-Poland." Stroheim could feel Avondale's annoyance at him, but decided to drop the bomb on him.

"I'm afraid I cannot share anything with you at the moment, Doctor Napyeer. The Fuhrer has sealed the files concerning Millennium-Mexiko's findings." Stroheim could feel Avondale's eyes burning a hole in him, but a soft rapping on the doorframe drew their attention away from the argument.

"Colonel Stroheim, your orders from Reichsfuhrer-SS Himmler." A young man stood in the doorway with a sheaf of papers in his hands.

"Ah yes. Thank you, Corporal." Stroheim's eyes widened. While he was in the hospital, Millennium-Mexiko had been reorganized into Millennium-Italy and had been tasked with researching three new Pillar Men that had appeared.

It was a massacre, with every soldier being killed by a sharp object of some kind. The three Pillar-Men were on their way to Switzerland to obtain an object called the "Red Stone of Aja". Stroheim simply had to apprehend the Pillar Men before they found the Stone.

Stroheim leapt out of bed, storming past Avondale and out into the hospital. Avondale ran after him.

"Stroheim, wait! Your cybernetics-!"

"GERMAN SCIENCE IS THE WORLD'S GREATEST! I HAVE TRUST IN YOUR WORK, HERR DOKTOR!"

Hellsing: Blood Sun Dawn Part 1.

Interludes are multiple series of stories set in the shared JJBA/Hellsing universe. "Blood Sun Rising" is the tale of Millennium in this universe. Other interludes set at different times in the universe may appear, depending on what choices you make.

Also, if you're looking for Millennium in Germany, you're going the wrong way.

Update will be out later today.
