1895 Japanese Empire transport to Planetos

The premise of this thread is that Japan from 1895 is transported to west of Westeros near lonely light. Now ofcourse to make this interesting, this is 106 AC during the reign of Viserys I (Rogue prince bookmark for those who play CK2Agot). This is the period that dragons are alive and used by targaryen regularly and generally Targaryan golden age.

How will the ISOTed Japanese empire interact with the Targaryan dynasty controlled Westeros?

From what I gather Asoiaf dragon can still be serious threat to nation without anti air weaponry so they may pose threat to the Japanese.

Here is the map I make for the scenerio. My scaling might be off by a lot, but I try my best.

I use this map as the base but can't figure out who is the author so I will just post the original map.

They have cannons and muskets, and unlike Westerosi armies they actually use tactics. Without the dragons, they'd stomp. As it is, it depends on whether the guns work on the dragons or not. Hell, They may even have gatling guns by then. That's post Edo period.

*Browses Wikipedia for a minute*

Let's see ... in 1894, at the start of the first Sino-Japanese War:
At the start of hostilities, the Imperial Japanese Navy comprised a fleet of 12 modern warships, (the protected cruiser Izumi being added during the war), eight corvettes, one ironclad warship, 26 torpedo boats, and numerous auxiliary/armed merchant cruisers and converted liners.
Japanese troops were equipped with the 8mm single-shot Murata Type 18 breech-loading rifle. The improved five-round-magazine Type 22 was just being introduced and consequently in 1894, on the eve of the war, only the Imperial Guard and 4th Division were equipped with these rifles. The division artillery consisted of 75mm field guns and mountain pieces manufactured in Osaka. The artillery was based on Krupp designs that were adapted by the Italians at the beginning of the 1880s; although it could hardly be described as modern in 1894, in general it still matched contemporary battlefield requirements.[51]

By the 1890s, Japan had at its disposal a modern, professionally trained Western-style army which was relatively well equipped and supplied. Its officers had studied in Europe and were well educated in the latest strategy and tactics. By the start of the war, the Imperial Japanese Army could field a total force of 120,000 men in two armies and five divisions.
Yeah, how many dragons are there?

How would they interact with the Targaryan who basically don't have any opposition previously? I hope we can discuss things other than war since this is not Vs debate.

Westeros is the size of Africa (If I heard correctly), even if the Japanese conquer everything can they hold on to it? Their faith is forreign and they speak forreign language, so they might face a bit more resistant.

Lastly what will forreigner getting transport along do? Can they do anything?

Yeah unlike army or city ISOT, Japan in it entirety is ISOTed so facilities that are require to create and supply their army is still their.

Of course they have to find new resource to replace their now gone trade partners. From quick glance at wiki it seem like Japan main import of this time is Coal.

And unless trees don't die in Westeros, there's coal.

I think dragons will get killed. A wall of riffle men. Shooting a dragon can get points around the scales if bullets don't go through it. Canon ball will dislocate/ break bones, paralyze. Chained canon balls will be better suited to kill dragons. Westerosi will be afraid of guns. Plus imperial japan military determination of fight till last man will be hectic.

It might be closer to this

Or this

Yes current Targ dragon are not as old and large as Balerion but they are probably closure to that size than Deanerys dragons which are quite young.

Their fire can melt stone castle just keep that in mind.
But the bigger the dragons are, the easier it will be to actually target them with heavy artillery.

Japan becomes the predominant superpower and the permanent hegemon of Westeros and runs some settler colonial systems along with extraction colonies. While the long winters will be harsh; Japan can survive them with some adjustment and given that the wights' weakness is being set on fire, aren't going to fare too well against the development of flamethrowers and other incendiaries.

Those not colonised by Japan inevitably become weebs as they try to emulate this unprecedented hyperpower's ways and customs.
