Also, an idle thought that I don't want to awaken the thread for: In Recoil, are they going to call being isolated because of the M/S Protocols "being Snowed in"? Because that would be a funny little butterfly, with her name on them.
...just as a follow-up on "enjoyed your work" - it is good enough to disrupt my sleep schedule, and entertaining enough to hold up on a reread. So, like, 6 out of 5 stars.
Also, a mild suggestion: in Recoil 1-6 you have "the programming language is a proprietary mod" - I might suggest "The software is proprietary", as while I don't actually know overmuch about late-80s/early-90s computing (having barely started poking computers in the era of Windows XP), I do know end-users on the level of Dorothy Hebert don't often touch programming languages.
Oh, yes, but the computers teacher, to whom she was speaking at the time, certainly would know. And so would Taylor. And the point was that "there's no way someone as computer-illiterate as Dorothy Hebert is going to be touching a programming language" and thus Taylor would not mention how the computers at the port authority were programmed, just that the software they were using was apparently proprietary.
Actually, should I just write up my comments as I do a reread and then post them into the thread? Would be better than dumping them all over this profile post.
