One of his likes is from Marlin. The guy that Qeqre keeps on pointing out as having the wrong fucking ideas. (also wasn't he the one who kept blabbering about that shadow mage apprentice, or was it someone else?)
Not the most shining of allies. Though either strangely self-aware, or the most hilarious coincidence.
Honestly though, do they HAVE to pester Torroar every time? Can't they discuss that with others in-thread? You'd think at nearly 3000 pages it'd be obvious at this point who the experts are.
He is remarkably nice for someone who is constantly troubled. Still, if only because it annoys me I can be a bit more active in pointing out why an idea is a silly fantasy.
You did well to illustrate exactly why this stuff is a problem.
Man, I think back when I did these sorts of things and I shudder at how, childish i sounded. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt as I did it myself, but there's so much...
Well, a lot of those folks left or barely participate, like Dutch, SSS, you (not saying you need to) and a lot of new blood has come in...I don't know, maybe it's because we're the Empire, supremely awesome state of jack of all trades, and it inclines them to think of ways to be special.
It might well be that the problem is from Torroar answering near every one. It encourages others and them.
You weren't that bad, I think? Everyone was bad at the start, but I think I was worse than you at the start, actually. I was terrible with the exaggerated excitement.
So there was somewhat of a brain drain, huh? I think seeing the 'fresh blood' and the usual slew of stupidity from people not familiar with the setting and joining only because they saw it's a big, active quest tends to be a terrible experience.
It's definitely not a new one. Remember when I got suspended because of how frustrating the idiocy was?
