I've played it, and run it, and have a rather large collection of dead tree and pdf books.
I like it, but I recognize that there are some things it doesn't do well
And it's a bit complicated for a PbP game where not everybody has decided that they want to play GURPS.
Granted, the 5% of the rules you use 95% of the time are in GURPS Lite, which is free.
