Your name is Taylor Hebert, and you are a parahuman. Last month you triggered when the Trio attacked you, shutting you into a locker filled with used hygiene products left to rot over winter break. It took over an hour for the janitor to hear your screams and let you out. When you awoke in the hospital, you thought you had gone mad, your mind was swarmed with designs for arcane and unintelligible machinery and an urge to disassemble the machines hooked up to you. It was only when you were fully lucid, about to be released from the hospital that you realized what was going on - you were a tinker, a type of parahuman who's only power was their ability - sometimes a compulsion - to build advanced technology far beyond human understanding or ability to replicate. Your excitement at your new power was quickly replaced with anger when you heard from your father that no charges would be placed against the Trio due to a lack of evidence, despite the various notebooks and other materials you kept incriminating them with records of their bullying.

Now, you have gathered materials from the junkyard and synthesized various compounds and minerals using a jury-rigged 3D printer. Most importantly, you have discovered both your tinker specialty and another aspect of your powers. You specialize in creating bio-organic weaponized remote controlled organic you call Warframes, do to their similarities to exo-suits. As to their control method, it turns out that your powers can interface with the warframe and power them, as you found out when you accidentally touched a piece of synth-muscle with your bare skin - it was animated and you could control it as if it was another limb. The energy you emit to control them has not been able to be recognized on any of your sensors, so for the meantime you have called it "Void Energy".

But now, you've hit a stumbling block. No matter what you try the Warframe on the bench table won't move - its not receiving enough energy nor registering your control for some reason. You think back to the moment when you connected with the synth-muscle - you were feeling exhausted and angry that you couldn't figure out why it wasn't working. Tentatively, you establish a connection to the warframe again and push all of your emotions into it. You push and push, and just when begin to feel a hint of a response your thoughts suddenly turn to the Trio. Exasperated, you're about to to cut the link when a pressure on your mind appears - it feels like your skull is in a pin vice. Before you, the warframe changes shape and rearranges itself but you don't know that because the link is sucking everything out of you - your emotions, your ambitions, your most hidden thoughts coming to the surface. At the forefront of it all is your one motivation to become a cape, linked to your plans for Madison Sophia and Emma...

[X]You will make them suffer, they will repent for their iniquities, but they are but a symptom of the larger disease that plagues the Bay. All corruption will be cleansed, by any means necessary. You create the Warframe Harrow, the penitent, the ritualist.
[]You have been changed by your trigger event, and you revel in it, knowing you are so much greater than before. You will force a change, a mutation, in the way this city is run, be it from the shadows or going straight for the throat. You create the Warframe Nidus, the mutant, the scourge.
[]Your hatred is poisonous, and it runs deep. But you do not let your hatred control you - no, your hatred is a weapon, just like any other tool you use in your tinkering. And you will drive it straight it into the heart of anyone who dares stand in your way. You create the Warframe Saryn, the poisonous, the deadly.

Character Sheet

Martial Skill 44
Accuracy 40
Strength 45
Agility 53
Fortitude 37
Intellect 36
Charisma 42
Willpower 49
Vitality 16

Traits:
Teenager: -5 Strength but +5 Agility. You are not very respected by adults and a great many things are restricted from you.
Survivor: +5 Willpower. You are respected by others that have lived through traumas that most others can't.
Operator: This character can control warframes and use weakened versions of their currently equipped Warframe's abilities.

Harrow
Martial Skill 76
Accuracy 65
Strength 73
Agility 58
Fortitude 60
Intellect 75
Charisma 32
Willpower 100
Vitality 34
Shield 100/100

Traits
Warframe (Rank 0): This character is controlled by an Operator, though is somewhat independent and has the intelligence of a small child when unhinged. This characters stats will grow to their full potential as their rank increases, and they will unlock more abilities as they do so. This character has the following abilities unlocked: Condemn - An AOE Shaker Power that summons ethereal chains to capture the enemy in place. These chains can only be broken by power nullifying abilities or characters with enhanced strength.
The Penitent, the Ritualist: This character's rank will increase when Taylor makes a significant action that involves keeping to what she believes is right or with atoning for a prior mistake.

This system uses a simple D100 roll under system, with each full 10 difference between the roll and the stat counting as 1 degree of success or failure. Contests are made by rolling a D100 and adding the stat in question - I will do the same for the other side. Combat is simple - you make a contest roll of the accuracy stat in question vs the target's agility, if it hits the target can attempt to make a fortitude test to reduce the damage taken, but they get stunned if they fail. As you take damage you lose Vitality - get to 0 Vitality and you get knocked out.

Not Mesa or Ivara? Shame on you for not offering best frames.

The internet guys are coming to switching out my modem in a little bit, so the update is going to be a bit delayed. Sorry!

Sounds like extra-physical protection and, in all honesty, we really need to change how Brockton Bay is run. And for that:
We need Jolly Cooperation.

Nevermind.

Update 2
The last thing that comes to your mind before everything goes blank is that you forgot to lock the basement door.

For what felt like an eternity, you couldn't see or feel anything, but slowly feeling crept back into your body. When you could see again, the first thing in your vision was the Warframe you built, standing in front of you menacingly. You quickly back up, until you hit your head on the wall. You only calm down when you realize that it isn't moving - without you aware enough to control it must have moved to protect you.

Standing on shaky legs, you lean on the Warframe and use it to help you to your custom desktop in the corner. Instinctively, you know that he has a name - Harrow. He reminds you of an priest of some kind, with a aura of purity radiating from him. From the tip of his his helmet to the floor he's 7 feet and 3 inches tall. In his right hand he holds a spear with an inbuilt cannon, in his left a short whip with a bizarre container hanging on the end is - his thurible. You tap into the connection once more. This is completely different experience from any of your previous control tests - this is more true somehow, like a complete transference. You've never felt more powerful.

You've never seen his design before, so you're going to set up some tests to run in the background while you get upstairs before your father gets-
A knock on the door. "Taylor?" your father tentatively asks from behind the door. "Are you in there? I heard something fall, are you okay?" He must have come home earlier without you noticing - glancing at the clock you realize its 8:30 PM. Its too late to hide the equipment in the cellar like you've been doing. It looks like you may have to reveal your parahuman status sooner rather than later…

[X]"Dad, open the door. I have something to show you. Don't freak out." (Show him everything.)
[]"Give me a second Dad, let me just put this away." (Hide Harrow, show everything else.)
[]"I'm busy right now Dad, can you come back later? I have work to do." (Try and hide everything, though risk rousing his suspicion.)
