@Birthday , ah, but then you run into the issue of "not connected to the class, no synergy". For all we know a more standard Shiki let's us multiply or add to our skills/abilities, while a unique one unsuited for the task can't. She may have her own unique abilities, but we might not be able to actually use them.

Ah, yes. Your point is valid. However, you seem to be overlooking the fact that we can contract multiple shikigami. Plus, we don't know when the next candidate will pop up, leaving us vulnerable in the meantime. Plus, I'm pretty we can use her unique abilities, given that we can directly influence her growth which, in turn, results in her unique abilities.
