It's a Elseworld Interlude, I have a feeling that this is in another universe. Not this one. Perhaps it's a different powerset that Taylor could have gotten.

I'm really hoping And Knuckles gives her the ability to turn stuff into Knuckles

exactly right. I think I'm going to add some more description to the choices to make that more clear.
EDIT: by "exactly right" I mean that it takes place in an alternate universe, not that she has the ability to make the world look like this:

In canon people had trouble telling whether Skitter was a girl or not, Taylor's body type is apparently androgynous. The mustache just misled them. It's not going to be a big plot point or anything, just a humorous thing.

you know, thats gonna make people go from "Robotnik has a stupid costume" to "Holy shit, she actually thought that through" if people keep calling her male and then someone finally figures out she's female. hard to peg someone's civilian ID when you think their a different gender.
