[] Ciaran and Thrawn. It will take them some time to track down Ahsoka given that they weren't immediately nearby but they can easily convince her to come with them and they can handle themselves. That being said anything could happen before they reach her...

Interesting but it feels kind of... overkill? Ciaran has minions for a reason, darn it! Let them do the minioning.

[] Arla, Dani, and Riphath. Between the three of them and their various talents tracking down Ahsoka will be easy. The only question is if they can get her to safety...

I am kind of leaning towards this one, for some reason, if only to see more of Miss Fett.

[] Asajj and Koliya. Between Asajj's combat skill and Koliya's cunning it would not take them too long to find and extract Ahsoka safely. That being said she may not take the fact that Asajj is alive very well...

Definitely not an option, in my mind.

And where would they take her to keep her safe?

[] The main base in the Undercity. It's the furthest away from where Ahsoka will come into the Undercity but it is undoubtedly the most secure location and it would make it easy to ship Ahoska off-world if things came to that. All they'd have to do is make it there.

It feels like a good idea but not as interesting as the last option.

[] Borvo's palace. Whoever's after Ahsoka hopefully wouldn't dare to earn the ire of the Hutts, and besides that the building is very secure between the systems installed by its previous owner, the new ones Borvo added, and the Watcher security. It's closer than the base in the Undercity but still a ways away.

Again, not really an option in my mind.

[] The Diamond Deception cantina. No one would think to look there of all places given that it's just one cantina in the sprawling Undercity, and it's noticeably closer to Ahsoka's location. It's not exactly as defensible though if anything happens.

I really like the image of the minions bringing Snips here and there she is! Ciaran is standing behind the bar and tells her, "You look like you need a drink...."

Palpatine s decides to sweep the board clean on Coruscant. Remember way back when the quest started and Coruscant has that Con that we could get wiped out at nearly any time by Republic Security?

All this time, Palpatine has been having his people hunt around Coruscant. Digging up info and Facts. What he doesn't currently have is a Location.

That Comm has a tracker in it. Palpatine Will drop Everything he can on wherever Ashoka comes to rest. He's Expacting us to get involved in this.

We bring Ashoka to our base? Palpatine finds it and drops a Clone Battalion on us to purge the Terrorist cell hidden within the cities depths.

We go to Borvo? Palpating accuses him of aiding and abetting a Dark Jedi Terrorist And has his palace destroyed and him kicked offworld.

The Cantina is both the least damaging financially and security wise, but the least defended as well. No matter where we go, this is going to get Ugly.

We can't send Assajj. She Needs to retain her fake death for now, or else Bad Things will happen. By the same token, the bounty hunter trio can't go after her. Ashoka would never trust bounty hunters, not after how her paranoia is so heavily sharpened. It needs to be Ciaran amen Thrawn.

Yes I am just voting for this for my character... yes I'm aware this option won't win, but can you blame me? Okay, I'll make my point for choosing, since they're both disguised as bounty hunters aren't going to raise that much of a red flag if they're spotted compared to Thrawn and Ciaran or Miss 'Technically Insane' Fett. Sure Ahsoka might not like Asajj, but they can relate to each other over betrayal.

[X] Borvo's palace. It's closer than the base in the Undercity but still a ways away.

Borvo's Palace serves as a perfect cover. It's heavily fortified, unconnected with Ciaran and most of all you'd to be mad to invade the de facto Hutt Cartel Embassy. Even if some does break in, Borvo can point out that he can't account for the identity of every guest considering the habit of everyone checking in under their other names.

[X] Take the Scimitar, have it pick up Arla, Dani, and Riphath, and then head straight for the smuggler dens on Nar Shaddaa.

The Scimitar is a cloaking ship unable (you would think) to be caught. Nar Shaddaa is in Hutt Space and the Hutt's are our ally. Arla, Dani, and Riphath are a skilled enough group to get her there and keep her safe.

gonna be honest, who's going to tell thats even asajj. and also, the com, unless she droped it, IS tracked, sooooo somewere that is not a secret military base.
 
I'm not sure how it's going to work mechanically, but I suspect Ahsoka may be 'rolling dice' to see how well she survives the underworld. With that in mind, I'm very much not inclined to wait until Ciaran can arrive in person; like barenhart, I'm inclined to send Arla, Dani, and Riphath to take care of her in the interim. Likewise, traveling all the way back to our main base could be a challenge with the city in lockdown, so either 'Borvo's Palace' or the 'Diamond Deception' are options.

@Dr. Snark: would it be possible to write-in a two part solution? Specifically: send Arla/Dani/Riphath to find Ahsoka and bring her to the Diamond Deception, while having Ciaran and Thrawn move toward the cantina and prepare to transport her to the main base from there? (Perhaps bring a disguise so she doesn't look like a Jedi on the second leg of her escape...?)

Guys, what are the chances of our missing dark force user is going to be after Ashoka? You know, the one that was outside Letta's home?

Coruscant is a big place. There's got to be someplace it can land, make a quick pick up, and high tail it out.

Um...have you seen the Undercity? It's like, entirely made up of alleyways and narrow corridors. You're not getting a ship in there, and by the time anyone finds Ahsoka they're going to be too far away from any point where it could get to.

Thing is a lot of things could (read: will) happen in between so a two-part solution would cover too much time. Right now this is more based on the immediacy of the problem, if that makes sense.

Doubly so. We're talking a place that's more like the Underhive in any Hive City, only BIGGER. There's probably Genestealers running around down there, and nobody's noticed.

If this is a short-term solution we're looking for, then sending a nearby team (that doesn't have personal issues with Ahsoka) to take her to the nearest safehouse seems like an easy call. We'll be able to send Ciaran & Thrawn, and bring Ahsoka to a more secure location, once we get her out of immediate danger.

As hilarious as the mental imagery would be, I'm preeeeetty sure sending a Devastator through the streets of the Undercity would cause a lot more problems than it would solve.

What about having Ciaran and Thrawn throw up a big public distraction at the Temple of some sort? Could be Wonderfully distracting! Maybe!
