Link + Ganondorf vs Dark Link + Phantom Ganon?

You can't say that wouldn't be awesome!
I'm thinking that IF Ganon stays good, it will be AFTER we kick his ass and free him from the corrupting influence. After all Ganon as a boss is too good to pass up.
No reason the big, pig version of Ganon can't just be the first form taken by the rejected curse, before it leads to the revival of Demise.

Wait a minute, if he's gabbing the best bosses then... HOLY SHIT GUYS WE GET TO FIGHT THE DOOM TRAIN!!!

I'm thinking of cool boss battles and I really like Goht from Majora's Mask. Imagine fighting him on horseback as he charges across Hyrule Field. You could easily turn him into an ancient Sheikah machine that is accidentally reactivated and goes on a rampage. He's always been a personal favorite of mine and he can easily fit into this quest.

[X] Eat dinner and not invade any of your friend's privacy.

You follow Paya out of the girl's room, putting everything you saw out of your mind for now.

However, it turned out you weren't having dinner in the dining room, instead eating it in the garden as it was a warm night and Mipha wanted to eat with her brother for a change. The ever-cheerful Zora claps you on the back, and with a bright smile says "I heard you kept up with Impa today! Haha! You continue to impress friend! No doubt your quest will be finished in no time! I have the highest faith in you!"

Feeling a bit self-conscious you dive back into your meal, bite-sized pieces of venison cooked in sauce with a side of rice, a soup and cooked vegetables. Most of the prep-work it turned out was making a portion that Sidon could enjoy.

Impa joins you half-way through the meal, having dropped off the leftover meat to the other guards and their families. Apparently Dorian got the best cuts, for Koko and Cottla.

Finishing your dinner you spend some idle time chatting, Sidon explaining that the Zora elders had acclimated well, and both him and Undyne had familiarized themselves with the area around Kakariko village. While there wasn't anything near the village from what they could determine there was a curfew in place, something you hadn't had time to check up on as you had only left at night to kill the Stalnox. Seems the ceremony for you to be accepted as a night was a welcome chance to get out and enjoy the warm summer evenings.

Impa is mostly quiet, offering little comment other than saying that with monsters becoming more aggressive lately and with so few guards the curfew was unfortunately necessary. Still, with Sidon and Undyne's help, the burden on the guards was thankfully lessened, and they were all appreciative.

As the evening went on you all quietly one by one slipped off to go to bed. With all the action today you're out like a light the moment your head hits the pillow.

Sadly your sleep isn't restful, tossing and turning not with concrete dreams but almost fever-like rolling of indistinct shapes and feelings. The only thing you could be certain of was the feeling of a sword gripped in your hands and an unbridled fury at everything around you, yet you couldn't consider in your dream addled state as to why. You also don't wake suddenly when Zelda opens your door to wake you, simply rousing exhausted with your bed soaked through with sweat.

Zelda is of course immediately concerned, asking if you had a nightmare but you wave her off by saying it was probably just too hot in your room. She leaves to let you get up, and you spend a few minutes thinking of your dream. Were you frustrated at something that your dream involved lashing out at something? Nothing comes to mind, not in the grand scheme of things, but a dream could bring up anything from memory.

Without really coming to any conclusions you end up just sighing, putting on a simple white tunic and brown shorts before heading to grab some breakfast, which was soup, rice, a sweet omelet and a salad that you quickly wolf down before heading to the bath to clean up.

Morning ritual complete you return to your room to put away your bathing supplies like your razor only to find someone already there, apparently having rifled through your belongings.

Paya was standing in the middle of your room, pressing your blue tunic to her chest with a very strange expression on her face, a slight blush creeping into her cheeks. A basket filled with clothes that were very much not yours seemed to indicate she was collecting laundry when she stopped to... inspect your tunic? You weren't sure what she was doing.

Clearing your throat gave the expected reaction, as Paya immediately let out a shriek and dropped your tunic, whirling around to face you as she turned bright red.

"M-master L-Link?!" Paya stammers out, panic overwhelming her.

You hold up your hand in a hopefully calming gesture, "It's fine, need help with laundry?"

"A-ah..." Paya seems to take a second to remember why she was in your room before exclaiming "O-oh! N-no no no, I-I am quite alright! Do not trouble yourself with me!"

Judging by how many clothes were in her basket you have the sneaking suspicion Paya was going to spend most of the day on laundry alone. Considering how she seems to have avoided Zelda and knowing your royal friend judging by how she only got to your room now you also suspect she was avoiding Zelda so the Princess wouldn't rush in to help her dear friend.

So what do you do? Choose only one.
[] Help Paya with her chores.
[] Hang out with Zelda.
[] Hang out with Mipha.
[] Join Impa on guard duty.
[] See what Sidon is up to.
[] Write-in

Yeah, small update. Couldn't think of how to drag it out.

Can we only choose one? You said the laundry would take all day for Paya, but if two are doing it that's maybe half a day instead? Not sure if only one or more are acceptable.

For now I'll say:

[X] Help Paya with her chores.
[X] Hang out with Zelda.

[x] Hang out with Mipha.

She walked off before, so we haven't spent much time with her. Would like to do so now.
I kind of agree that it would be nice to hang out with Mipha; on the other hand most of her problems have been solved or at least lessened by getting out of the environment she's been in for years. Zelda's are, if anything, worse now that her past life memories are pressing down even more strongly than they were before, when they were already strong enough to give her serious psychological issues, as seen by even our casual view of her room. Those issues are piled on top of what has been done to her knowingly by the Council and unknowingly by the rest of the village. Worst of all, there's almost no one who knows enough to even be able to help her, and none of them feel they have the authority to do so without her invitation.

That said, Paya is almost the exact same way, so,

[X] Help Paya with her chores.
-[X] If you can find Mipha or someone else to help too that would be even better.
[X] Hang out with Zelda.

Only one. I'll directly make it obvious in the vote to prevent confusion.

You can only hang out with one person today.

[X] Hang out with Zelda.

As previously mentioned, Zelda's issues are coming up right now and not in a good way. Paya may end up traveling with us, and we can help her with her shyness over time just by traveling together. If she doesn't come with us, honestly it's not a big deal. Unlike in the game, helping every single person isn't conducive to victory. I don't think we have infinite time, so better to concentrate our efforts on those who matter as a whole. "For the greater good" sounds bad to people, but it is a necessary evil unfortunately.

I feel I should point out that Paya very specifically avoided letting Zelda know she was doing all the chores today since Zelda would help her with them. Consider Zelda's reaction to that.

I'm just warning you ahead of time, characters don't exist in a vacuum and will have reactions and opinions on stuff.

Would hanging out with Zelda necessarily preclude not telling her about Paya's chores?

I think saying that her problems have been solved is a pretty naive view.
We won't get it that easy, and remember how we messed up by thinking everything was fine before?

Definitely agree there. The source of her problems still exists, even if she isn't in the area, and even if/when we free her people, fixing their situation doesn't fix her issues. Damage is lasting. Mental stuff especially so.

You currently have no idea what Zelda is up to right now. I'm just warning she'd be upset at you since no one was taking that into consideration and while I won't warn you guys always feel I should atleast this once.

Also as a warning that greater good decisions might not be popular with a certain segment of the cast.

Fair enough.

How about this...

[X] Let Zelda know about Paya and her chores so she can help her friend. Then go spend time with Mipha.

@ImmortalsBlade - Acceptable write-in? Although I do find it strange that Zelda doesn't know what her friend is doing. Isn't she used to Paya trying to do all the chores? Or am I misunderstanding you somehow?

That's for us OOC, not for Link IC... he wouldn't be thinking "greater good" he'd just be being nice and helping whoever. We the players would be thinking "greater good".

For me, it still comes down to support systems. Mipha has family and friends to rely on who are both willing and able to support her. Neither Paya nor Zelda have anyone who is both of those things at the same time, which would naturally make them a higher priority.

Hmm. With this, I can't help but think we're being led to make a particular decision, but I'm probably mistaken so until I have more time to review

Yeah sure.

Uh, I suggest you reread the description of Zelda's side of their bedroom. That explains it. Also again, Paya is literally doing her best so Zelda doesn't realize it.

Paya and Zelda have each other. Like I can not overstate how close they are. That's why I'm warning you guys "Are you sure you want to tell Zelda you left Paya to do laundry to hang out with her?"

Remember, even if you have a perfectly valid reason for it consider how it comes across to other characters. Like telling Sidon, for example, to get bent that you assume will prevent him from doing something suicidal and then hanging out with Mipha isn't going to result in Mipha being happy with you. I'm just warning you guys that you will have to explain yourselves so that you can at least consider what your explanation will be.

Edit:
However, it's also not like Paya will make a fuss about it and other people barely know Paya. I'm just saying, going right to the person who admitted to having really strong feelings for Paya maybe you should consider how that would come across to them.

Should help Paya. If Link can help Paya break out of her shell and get better helping Zelda is likely to be beasier since Zelda has a fair bit of guilt issues with regard to Paya. And to do that we need to have Link spend more time with Paya.

Just help Paya guys; there is no reason why we can't.
Actually, there is. Laundry. Girls like Zelda, and certainly Paya, are sensitive about their underthings. How will she react to us washing her panties?

I do actually have reasoning when I do this stuff...
