[X] Go eat dinner, but ask Zelda about the Picori and Keatons

So this whole Zelda is bi and the Six maidens thing. At first I thought it was just typical harem fiction stuff, but then I thought... Hylia, Din, Nayru, Faore, each of the goddesses having a nature spirit under them (except Hylia) and the Fierce Deity. Is this a grand re-enactment? "As above, so below?" Where the Fierce Deity had The four goddesses and their nature spirits as a harem of sorts, and the Six maidens are their mortal counterparts?

It's a reference to a Link to the Past and Four swords. Also to the Sages that regularly appear, it's just that I dropped the whole "Maidens are descendants of the original sages from the sealing war" thing and more closely followed a Link between Worlds and Ocarina of time's model. Hell, Mipha was originally going to be Ruto but Mipha fit the character role better due to the subversion of expectations.

You guys have seriously underestimated how much of this quest is a love letter to the Zelda franchise as a whole. :V

Though it's probably not a spoiler that I am going to throw the best Zelda bosses at you guys because hell yeah.

You are free to argue amongst yourselves which ones are the best. :V

I got that, I'm more talking about the growing relationship and totally unsubtle hints everyone is throwing around about it. (Hilariously unsubtle considering neither Zelda nor Link understand, though I suspect Mipha does.)

Actually, Link wouldn't be an actual harem protag. What some characters have been pointing at is Link, as the outsider with courage and compassion may be able break the shell to help move Mipha, Zelda, and Paya past their various traumas and help them heal. Which, frankly, would work better if Link remains their friend instead of significant other.

Though to be honest I'm a ZeLink shipper so I'm going to be voting towards that. :p

I'm right there with you on the Link/Zelda relationship. I can deal with more, but not less lol. It just ain't Zelda if there's nothing with them. Even if it remains only the subbest of texts. I mean, the whole series is a giant love story between those two. Not having it would be like... reading a Romeo and Juliet re-enactment where they just don't hook up, listening instead to their respective family's wishes. Not exactly what this seems like it's heading towards, especially considering how much the OP says it is an homage to the series as a whole.

I am interpreting this to mean we'll be fighting the Stallord while on a spinner since no one can ever convince me that fight was anything but awesome.

I interpret that as every TP boss after the first. Even the bad ones were epic, which means they translate well to writing since you ditch the bad gameplay that stuff like the water temple boss had.

Volvagia, Girihi-

wait no nope Girihim is a bad that leads to actually Demise

Unless Demise appears because Ganondorf rejects the path of evil so strongly that Demise's curse gets kicked out of his body to manifest independently.
I'm thinking that IF Ganon stays good, it will be AFTER we kick his ass and free him from the corrupting influence. After all Ganon as a boss is too good to pass up.
