@Metaldragon868 Thanks for detailed information about the tech level. I had another question though. Could you clarify what this option meant:

  • Learn how to fight from Camulus.
I was a little curious because in comparison to Fergus' swordsmanship and Merida's marksmanship what Camulus' entailed was a little unclear to me. Like did this mean the very basics such as taking a martial stance, throwing a punch, launching a kick, etc.?

Technically speaking, Camulus isn't as good of an instructor in close combat as your mother or your uncle. He was supposed to be the best option, in the original plans, but then your mother came in like the atom bomb and wrecked my plans.

He is, however, better at some Solgren fighting styles, a bit of a niche in Lances, and he's quite good at using guns. Sure, he's no sharpshooter, but he certainly the best around. For the moment anyways.

But basically, the option was there if you wanted to take it. It wouldn't be the best, considering your mother exists, but it would be a way to break down barriers between the two of you, and a way to learn how to shoot guns.

Still, learning from him would involve dabbling in a bit of everything. Learning from your mother would lean more toward axes in the end, while learning from your Uncle would lean more towards sword and shield.

Hope that answers your question.
